The softer melodic part - so wonderfully soothing - gives the song so much punch. Great writing and performance. All anyone wants in the end is to belong.
When you want a reference track for 100% vocal comittment, this is the song. This song is pure.
I remember hearing this on one of the late night talk shows in the USA or maybe SNL back in the day, and I instantly thought this song is going to blow up. Even though I love heavy metal, this is one of my favorite songs of all time.
As a metal head i couldn't agree more. Specially the last quarter of the song, i can't imagine a metal fan not feeling the song, for sure there is one, but the energy is metal energy in pop, it's just *chefs kiss*

Many years ago I tuned into BBC radio 6 for first time and heard this song. Didn't have Shazam back then so I could never find the song again. Now all these years I hear it again. I'm feeling all nostalgic now
