I bought the Nyon after seeing your video and have had it a few days now. I agree with your comments about routing, it can be quite odd sometimes, especially if you choose Scenic. For many routes from my home, for instance, it seems to think I can go just down the road and across a field! I find the Fastest to be more reliable. The range function is good and one of the main reasons I bought it but found a bit of a flaw. It assumes that you are going to ride one way with some means of charging when you get to your destination. I assume with your review you did that. However, in the majority of cases I, and I would think most people, want to do a round trip to end back at my starting point. It would be good if you could set it to round trip so it calculates how far you could go and come back on the charge you have in the battery.

Many thanks for posting this. I opted for a Nyon control and have had it a couple of weeks and it really has transformed my e-bike. But I wasn't aware the range remaining used topology of the route and could show you the range on the mapping screen, that's really useful to know.

Hi, Your video was what I was looking for, an unbiased honest account of the Nyon system. I have a Bosch powered bike using the Intuvia but as a cyclist who tours I’ve has real difficulties with images on my smartphone getting nigh on impossible to see in direct sunlight and the issues that using the OS APp sucks up the battery power in no time. So, no more additional battery pack or expensive Garmin, I’ll get this all rounder. Many thanks WS

When I first upgrade from a kiox to the nyon I wasn't that impressed, but after a few years of use I have to say I really like the nyon. The info it gives is amazing. The maps work really well with an Apple Watch. The only thing I wish they would change is Garmin integration. I do longer rides all the time as I have 2 batteries and set my ebike up for trailer touring with 4 panniers. I use the nyon my phone and my garmin watch to record the ride and they are all pretty much the same. The Mileage left is pretty accurate to me.

Thanks for the video. I’ve just bought a Cube Kathmandu Hybrid and your video persuaded me to order the Nyon to replace the Intuvia that comes with the bike. I normally use my phone in a cradle for navigation but I think this will be much neater and removes another thing from the handlebars.

i bought this to replace my kiox. I don't like how slow it responds to touch controls, and it takes a second to load up when first turning the bike on. Its nice and fancy, but I liked the kiox better.
