- Okra also called bhindi in urdu/Hindu is one of most used vegetable in subcontinent.
It's grown widely in both countries and is a very good source of minerals,vitamin,fiber and nutrition.
There are 6 very important benefits of use of okra which needs to be mentioned.
1=it's good for sugar management as it contains good amount of fiber which don't let glucose spike in blood rapidly and also helps to lower HBA1C level of diabetics.
2=okra is a rich source of antioxidants which act as antiinflammatory to counter bad effects of different free radicals in our Body.
3=okra contains sticky substance which doesn't let H.pylori bacteria stick to stomach wall and this in a way Helps patients of stomach ulcer.
