MY WEiGHT LOSS JOURNEY FOR THiS MOM OF 8 (part 1) 🥰😉

- I really have been struggling over the last couple years with my weight because of my hormones going through menopause and no matter what I do whether I eat good or exercise the weight just comes on like you absolutely cannot control it.
And I am a very active person and I just feel like I woke up and 45 pounds heavier. I didn’t notice it even though I am on social media and I see myself in the videos. I really wasn’t noticing that I was putting on a lot of weight, but the one thing I did notice was I just wasn’t feeling good. I was having a lot of digestive issues and I went to several doctors tried different. Diets tried changing my foods that I eat doing no processed all whole Whole Foods and nothing would help.
I started by exercising and then doing a couple juice cleanses which really did help and now that me and my husband have found this Octavia. It actually seems to be helping me a lot actually, I’m not waking up with a bloated stomach, and I’m not sick to my stomach. Literally for the last year and a half. I’ve woke up every single morning with my stomach bloated, feeling full, and sick to my stomach.
I have officially lost over 15 pounds today and I’m super excited to see how the future holds for my continued weight loss journey. I have been exercising but not faithfully because I feel like I all I do is travel so now that I’m home and we have so many wonderful things happening that I really just wanna be in shape and start to feel better which is my main reason that I’m doing this.
My husband is super excited about this diet. He says he feels like he’s lost more. We did our first weigh in. I’m telling you getting older takes a toll on you if you’re not in shape and taking care of yourself, but I used to lift all the time and I just got really burnt out with it like I said in the video a couple times and so I just stopped doing it which I know isn’t the best thing but I just was overwhelmed with life.
I was nervous with you, but I want to be transparent and just let you know how I’m feeling and if there’s other people that are struggling the same way hopefully I can be an encouragement to you. Let you know that you’re not alone that we all are struggling and maybe you don’t see me struggling on my struggles and we all just are tired of life and wanted to just stay in bed all day. And I get that way often.

We Must Know More!!
You got this!
Me!!
Congratulations on 2 pounds. I've been on a diet to loose, I have lost 164 pounds so far. I'm a diabetic and went through a depression state, since I've got a long way to go so I can get surgery on both my knees. If I can do it, I have faith in you that you can do it.
Great job. I'm diabetic and for years have kept my A1c between 5.0 to 5.2. Now after years it's sky high and I'm so frustrated. So, now I'm going to try exercising more, but motivation is hard to find.
Oh my goodness Miss you lost many pounds. I’m struggling. May I ask what you did?
Hi dear friend thank you for your honesty I too have been struggling with my weight lost my vision so cannot find my way around a gym let alone drive there or cannot do much walking outside ..unsafe but watching you inspires me to start to find indoor excercise and so glad you do castor oil packs
That is amazing exactly wot i need to do for my knee surgeries. May i ask what helped you.
Congratulations on your weight loss. Continued sucess getting your life back in order.
Heather You can do this. I weighed 198 and said I’m done and started eating healthy, walking every day. I cut sugar out for awhile, everything s/f. One tip I would give is don’t eat after 4 or 5. And you gotta go to bed little hungry. lol. The weight will fall off
I know weigh 145. Took me few months but I never felt better. I love food. lol. Now’s the hard part, keeping it off. Good luck to ya
gonna try this cause i love sugar a lot but im gonna try to switch over to sugar free treats and more walking 👍🏾
She has Eleiko plates too❤❤
I just got off the phone with a friend talking about our menopause journeys. It’s a wild ride isn’t it?! You are doing great Heather!
I am with you Heather! I am 60, 50 lbs overweight and don't feel great. Time to make a change! We got this!!
You have this!!!! I too am a 50+ woman who also has puffed out in the past few years. I hear ya!! I as well have cut back time on my phone/computer because social media does suck out your life! It’s addictive. It makes my heart sad when wherever you go you see EVERYONE with their noses in their phones instead of enjoying one another/life
Thank you for being so honest and open. Not only about wanting to work on getting healthy but also about social media. It is so refreshing!!!!
We love you Heather! You are so right to prioritize your health and fitness. You are setting such a good example for your kids too. You can do it 😘!
Heather I feel you, as someone who put on 40 pounds in the last two years after having my son, I am getting emotional about my
Health journey too. It’s because our hearts are in the right places. You’re incredible and an inspiration! You’ve reminded me that I need to hop back on my workout bike! Cheers Heather Bell❤ you’re going to meet your goals
Heather you can do this! I'm 70 and a half! (Yes l count that half!) Diabetes runs in my family. I made up my mind that l was going to loose this weight. I totally vote for weight watchers diet plans. Skip juice!!!! That's full of sugar! Instead eat the fruits! Think "protein and produce!" I had my check up last week and my labs were phenomenal and weight was down. Don't weigh every day. Go for twice a week. You've got this!
Heather -- I feel the same way. Social media definitely has a way of swallowing you up .. and I've noticed that one of the first things I do when I wake up is to check my CZcams notifications; and before I know it, I've been into it for an hour. For me personally, one of the most important things in my life is my faith, and I feel like I should be giving that my first attention in the morning .. so that's what I've been trying to do, prioritize my time and those things of importance for me to begin each day in the right direction. I'm also going to start riding my exercise bike again every day. Now that the Spring is here and the weather is warming, my husband and I usually go hiking on the weekend, which is one of our favorite things to do. We also add in bird watching on our hikes, which we love. I think it's a good thing to exercise and stay fit, but it's also important to incorporate the things that you like to do - walking, hiking, swimming - whatever it is that you enjoy and doesn't make your exercising feel like a drudgery instead of enjoyment.
Your videos give hope, laughs, recipes, decorating ideas, special occasion ideas, incentive plus a little money for kids.
Oh honey, don't cry , you made me cry . You can do this !!! You are amazing, and God is right there with you along with us ❤ . You got this, Heather! Getting older stinks .
Me at 26 like damn nows the time, your motherly presence affects all of us thank you. I'm gonna try to do it with yeah!❤
We got this!! I'm in the same boat, but I have faith! You're beautiful inside and out, and you got this. You're a strong woman with an amazing support system💜💜
Heather, you’re very beautiful and it kind of broke my heart seeing you cry like I want you to know like you look so good
You’re amazing…thanks for the inspo!
Heather don’t feel bad. We all struggle with weight and trying to do better and eat healthier. I’ve gained 20 lbs in the past few years myself. Got a walk up call today and realizing I need to do better. We got this.
You go Heather !!! You got this !! I love your channel and you amaze me with all you do ! Have faith in the Lord , He will be faithful to you ! You are an inspiration !
I try to watch all of your videos. (Not a huge TV watcher) but these and a few other just calm me at night. I have a good job with a very large bank for over 21 yrs ) This is just one that touched my heart again by you exposing YOU and this whole “circle” of life and the last few years since social media.
I remember you on Dad something pod cast awhile back and he embraced you not like he does to the other social media families pod cast and not exposing your kids for the money. You are telling your true life story about how children in this world need good homes and it possible.
Thank you for being you ! Always stay strong. You and your family have been such a blessing to SO many people just by you sharing your family’s experiences! And I thank you very much. God bless.
You got this Heather!!❤❤❤ THE BELL FAMILY ROCKS!!❤❤❤
You got it Heather, you're doing great!!! And you're looking great!!! ❤ ❤ ❤
You’re an inspiration! Love how honest you are ❤
When u broke down about ur weight gain I cried with u. I have struggled just like u watching the pounds pile on year after year after I turned 50. I’m right here with u, I don’t feel good about me anymore than I physically feel good. I’m going to make this my summer to turn myself around too. I really such an inspiration, u got this ❤
Protein in the morning! Greens bloat me BAD! Look into high oxalate foods. They do impact some ppl poorly. I’m one of them. Love that you’re on this path and taking us with you!
Mama Bell, you are so refreshing! I’m a college student who dreams of having a big family and a career. You are such a good example of a mom who tries to get it all done with grace. Please keep up the good work!
You're doing awesome Heather! I can't believe how much weight you've lost already! Wow...that sauna sure sounds good. I cant imagine having one in my house..sounds like a dream come true...

Heather you are stunning and certainly don't look your age. You are right that it's not only about your weight it's your comfort that matters. Your story is very inspirational, both in terms of fitness and life in general. It's better to lose weight slowly because you are more likely going to keep the weight off. 😊
Heather, your vulnerability is appreciated. By sharing your journey you’re inspiring other women to take their health and happiness into their own hands. Thanks for always being so transparent … and for being YOU. We all know you can do this, girl. ❤

Heather you got this! You are completely inspiring me 🥰 weight loss journeys are full of ups and downs. I know when I go back to working out after long breaks my muscles and body retain water for a bit. The “whoosh” will come just keep on being consistent! 💕🌸 im so blown away about your weight lifting journey! I would love to have that gym ❤ and am excited to see what this brings you!
OMG I love you. You are a strong woman. You can do anything ! Remember muscle weighs more. So don't get discouraged. Try not to weigh yourself too much, sounds like you're doing all the right things. Good luck on your journey. You got this!!❤️
You GO GIRL!! Can’t wait to celebrate you when you reach your goal😊
You can do this
I just turned 70 and last year was one of my heaviest. I weighed 220 pounds and I become a type one diabetic.
I changedI’my eating habits
And I was 60 pounds I am now 160 which is the lowest I’ve been in 40 years
I was overweight my whole life and it is a struggle, but it takes commitment and once you make up your mind, you can do it
You are a strong woman and you’ve got this
CONGRATULATIONS Robin!!! 🎉 🎉 🎉 🎉 🎉
Wow this was an amazing video. Love your transparency and vulnerability in the video. And love what you said about social media and finding yourself again. We support you!
I just want to say momma bell, you’re beautiful! I know how upsetting it can be to gain weight, and how much of a toll it can be. I was in a collision, and got hypothyroidism, and have gained 100 pounds. It’s not even about being skinny, it’s about the struggle daily just to move your body. Don’t worry about the number on the scale as much on how you feel.
Thank you for sharing this with us. You’re an inspiration and such a beautiful person. Praying blessings over your life. 🙏🏼🫶🏼
I wanna give you a hug ❤I’m cheering you on!! Love you
Thanks for sharing. It’s encouraging me in my weight loss journey!
Heather, I was looking at your past videos and your face looks slimmer now! I am currently working out for my mental health and getting off medications too. I’ve never felt better! We’re in this journey together. Even if the pounds don’t come off immediately don’t get discouraged! I am trying to remind myself to do the same too. ❤ Also I love your videos, you show the real side of your life and I can’t tell you how much I appreciate how genuine you are. God bless you ❤❤❤
I'm hoping you will inspire me, I'm 51 years old, menopausal and gaining weight continuously. Good luck and lots of love xx
Congratulations to you on your weight lost. I am a member at the YMCA gym and I workout four days a week and I sit in the sauna twice a week and this helps me lose weight and it makes feel good with wellness and fitness.
I am praying for you. You are doing a great job!
Your doing good! You’ve got this. Don’t give up❣️
I’m in the same boat as you! I’m 68 & don’t feel good about my body. I need to lose at least 30 lbs. To start 5-10 would be great. I’ll love your journey it keeps me motivated. 😊
How amazing to get near 100# snatch!!! Woowee, Mama Bell! I've only gotten to 80#. You're an aspiration. ❤🎉
I can imagine ytube takes alit if time..to film edit plan etc.
Love that you still have a routine with prayer and bible study x live this family ❤
Hey Heather, as a member of the Perimenopause community 😂and weight gain board. I switched over to a food pairing which is a protein, fiber and complex carb style of eating and I feel like a brand new person!
My sugar cravings went away, I no longer have most of the hormonal symptoms I was dealing with and I’m actually sleeping 😮
I aim for 25-30 grams of protein with each meal but of course everyone is different and I also aim for my fiber intake to be 25G per day including soluble fiber (which is what we need for hormonal reasons)
I ditched “Added Sugars” and Refined Carbs
Game changer so far for these hormones
I think I’ll join you on this.. I’m the same age as you and have gained the same amount of weight in the past couple years.. late night snacking is definitely my downfall 😌 but I also have a hard time getting a chance to exercise because I still have young kids at home and homeschool and work part time.. I know I need to make time it’s usually going on a walk with thr kids that works best
I so understand going through it too sister.. it stinks .. I have decided that the most important thing for me is to feel good even if I’m not necessarily loosing. Good luck!
If you have a "Y" in your town/area. Swimming, water aerobics, even walking in the pool helps. Stay hydrated during this time. When drinking coffee, substitute local honey for sugar(good for allergies), oat milk/creamer for regular creamer(Chobani will send you coupons every 30 days, you have to put it on the calendar and call each month). Watching your saturated fats/cholesterol can help at any age! Perhaps you have become lactose intolerant? Try Schiff Digestive Advantage Probiotic + Lactose Support(in our area CVS carries). Try not eating anything after dinner/dessert, so your body can digest. Do not lay down or sit back on the couch or recliner for 3 hours after you eat. You can do it, and it's not quanity lost, even a pound lost is great, that's 4 sticks of butter(imagine that on a plate)! 😊❤
I get it mama, I put on 50 in 2 years, found out I'm diabetic and have pancreatitis and hyperthyroidism 😢 so I understand completely, even though I never sit still, I feel 18, but 46 is what my body is reminding me it is.. seeing you do this is making me wanna start!!! I think you got me, so now I'm going to try too!ugh this is going to be hard
Thank you for sharing Heather. I recognise your struggle I have felt the same since turning 50,I’ve recently turned 60 it’s been a long ten years 😂 your journey has really inspired me to do better. I look forward to your next update. Love to you all from Julie in Scotland xx
You got this! We all got this!
Dr Jason Fung, Dr Ken Berry Dr Eric Westman 👍🏻 Life Changing!!!!!
I'm so proud of you. I feel so blessed to know you, even if only through your videos. ❤

Great job!! You got this! Take care of yourself is important. Health is wealth. I get it also have put on a ton being over 50. I'm also on my journey to try my best to get down to feel better and less tired.
i look forward to this series, as i am in the same boat. thank you for being honest with your journey. i agree with u about social media.
Really appreciate this video! I listen to this while I was on my walk today. I'm having some health issues too and gained some weight! I'm starting intermittent fasting ( eat in a 8 hr window) also walking and trying to do a bit of hand weights. I also cut down on coffee just too acidic & my stomach can't take it.
Kombucha is a better choice & lots of benefits.
Please keep us informed of your health journey it's helpful I'm sure for many of us here. 😊
I’m 40 with thyroid issues so I do get it, unfortunately! Also postpartum. Thank you for sharing your journey! It helps others get inspired. Keep up the good work!
Keep your strong positive attitude along with your determination. You got this and we along with your family has your back. You can do this❤❤
Proud of you girly!!!!!❤
I feel ya, Heather. I had my only baby at 47. I weighed 128 when I got pregnant and gained 65 pounds and only lost 45, hence; never lost the last 20 and more crept on now 150. I turn 62 in June, and eating only 12pm to 6pm and it helps not to eat after dinner. For me I eat meat and veggies and down a few pounds, so gotta start on the weights, and all this exercise is boring but I gotta do it.
Always an inspiration!
Way to go Heather. I am 54 and it is hard. ❤
Keep up the amazing work you got this ❤🙏🙏
Congratulations on the weight loss you go girl
I love the real&rawness ❤❤
You can do this. I'm proud of you. I am starting my journey also.
Great job Mrs. Bell
Heather you got this❤
Health is wealth! You can do this, I believe in you! God is good :)
You got this but you look amazing. Not feeling good is the key and when you get to that point time to do something. You are motivating me I am 5’1 and I weigh 176!! I’ll be 60 in June it’s very hard.
You look absolutely beautiful. Keep up the great work.
You can do it girl❤
You got this!! Your story is so similar to mine. I believed the lie that over 50 you can’t lose weight. NOT TRUE. I have lost 26 pounds. I quit eating at night. Intermittent fast 15 hours and cut refined sugar to one or two small treats in the week. All or nothing has never worked for me. Go girl!
You go girl you can do it. I’ve done it twice now. I feel so much better since I’ve lost weight again. The first time I lost 90 pounds the second time I lost 80 I feel wonderful. I’ve got so much energy and I’m smaller than my girls. I’m about 135 pounds but you can do it. You just gotta put your mind to it. I will pray for you, you got a girl go just a girl from Texas 🇨🇱
Heather, I too, am on a weight loss journey! Please don’t cry… you’ll make me cry… I have 50 more to lose. Stay strong 💪
Lose weight to feel healthier is great but it's sure not easy!!! I had bariatric surgery years ago then gained my big loss back. But you have my support. Just do your best. You are beautiful and loved !!!
