- My daughter Izzy was so excited for prom and I wanted to make her day super special, so I planned a ton of things we brought Hailey and her friends and just spent the whole day making sure it was all about Izzy .
We started our day eating breakfast, and then we went and did a little shopping because she wanted to find some makeup to match her dress and then I surprised her with a spa day where she got her toes, hands, and hair done, and then she had asked me about the corsage And I acted like I didn’t know what she was talking about but then surprised her. I had actually ordered one a while ago for her and so she was like mom I’m gonna have to keep an eye on you. You’re super sneaky.
After that we came back Sarah got her make up done, which she did a wonderful job and holy cow did she looks so beautiful in her lavender dress it fit her just perfect, and she had the best time ever. Sounds like she danced the night away.

Izzy looked beautiful, and so did the other girl. 😊 The person who straightened Izzy's hair, gave me anxiety 😢. Izzy hair will frizz and won't hold the curls since it wasn't straightened from the root. The hairstylist should have used a heat protector, a hot comb, a wax product to help keep the hair straightened along with something like spritz to hold the curl.
Right she needs a black hair stylist the curls were already falling out in the chair . Loved everything else.

There may not be a salon in their area. They do live in the country. Honestly. Try to understand not everyone has the same access to everything.
I say this with love. For Izzy's next event PLEASE reach out to a hair stylist that does African American hair. She would have more knowledge with Izzy's hair texture. She looked beautiful for her prom!!!🥰

Izzy hair should have been blowed dried straight then sectioned and flat ironed with one pass. Her hair came out ok but it’s obvious that did not know how to properly do her hair texture.

I wondered the same thing. It’s not at all saying she didn’t do a good job or didn’t look beautiful. Izzy was stunning but I agree when she started flat ironing without partying or blow drying and with no heat protector products hurt me😣 not too mention no products added to lay it down or make it shine!!
Izzy looks beautiful no matter what but I'd definitely paid for her to have professional make up done and someone who deals with afro hair. She deserves all the confidence in the world.

@@alisonfraser8231 the lady doing her hair wasn't doing it properly for afro hair. It's that simple. She looked beautiful yesterday but anyone who deals with afro hair knows.
Overall she looked beautiful. Yeah.. Cringe at her flat ironing her afro. She was supposed detangle, blow dry with a paddle brush. Heat protector products.. Straighten using the chasing method.

The girls are so beautiful, and I love their dresses. SN: My hair is natural like Izzy. Next time tell them to blow her out first before using the flatiron also use a heat protectant. Blowing her out will decrease the number of times she used the flatiron on one piece of hair.

Yes with a good leave n conditioner & blow dry hair on high heat,then flat iron.just tips she still did a good job ! Beautiful🙏🏽💐👌🏽
Izzy should watch Deeper Than Hair over here to do her own hair or the stylists learn to do her hair. I had to learn for my daughter's hair. Is still beautiful the job they did.
One of my best days was taking my daughter Ellie for nails, hair, makeup then back home to dress for her jr prom! I love being a mom more than anything I’ve ever done or will ever do
