    Never watched any videos for my twin boys. They are a year and half old. But I always put them in different rooms for the naps.

    I'm so happy you mention adjusted age. My twins were born 3 months early, so it makes everything difficult on their levels. My twins are 22 months old (19 months adjusted). We've been struggling the past week so badly. Dad and I have been napping during our lunch and break.

    Glad to find your channel I will be working with 2 cousins 6-8 weeks apart and wondered if it would be ok to go by using your twin schedules??? Of course, calculation their schedules according to due date. Welcome your comments.

    What do we do if we can't separate at naps ? Just deal with the extra crying until they figure out how to sleep during nap time and do the same as I would at night ? My husband works shift work and hasn't slept in our room for over 15 months. If I could separate then 1 would be in my room but I really want him to be able to sleep in our room again so that's not possible. My husband gets so angry when he hears the boys crying and he just worked a night shift (I'm rolling my eyes haha)

      @littlezsleep  Před 2 lety

      Hey Rachel! Having twins separate for naps is ideal, but that doesn't always work for some families. A slumberpod is a great option to separate twins. If you want to keep them together for naps, I would recommend moving their cribs as far apart as possible and putting white noise between them!

    My twins are currently getting out of they're cots. They are 2 in November. One sleeps reasonably well. But the other kicks off literally screaming her head off. Now they can get out of there beds ( which are now switched into cot beds) they play and are unsettled at the mo one is in my bed and the other in her bed. I need some advice because all they do it waddle around creating mess instead of settling and staying in bed. Any help would be appreciated x

      Hi Yvette! I recommend keeping little ones in their cribs until the age of 3. Before this age, toddlers have a hard time understanding the boundaries and staying in bed. Here is a blog post with my tips on how to stop crib climbing. littlezsleep.com/blog/how-to-stop-your-toddler-from-climbing-out-of-the-crib/

    Trying to keep them on the same schedule was actually the biggest waste of time and stress possible. Not only they're completely different, big boy, little girl, but have different personalities and need different things. Instead of making them do things, let them be who they are and your life will be so much easier instead of fighting against your babies. Also incredibly important is to have one on one with my babies, and the way I enjoy it is when the other one is napping.

    Why keep them together at night?

    • @littlezsleep
      @littlezsleep  Před 2 lety

      Hey Danielle!! Great question. You don’t have to have twins share a room, but if they do that’s great! I suggest separating for naps and then they can come back to the same room for nights if they do room share.

      Hey Jorge!! I'm so glad you found this helpful! Since 98% of my audience is women I tend to say Mom more frequently 🙃 But I definitely don't want to leave caretakers or Dads out!!
