I think the story was pretty good, but it never was really about the Empire. Morgan Elsbeth’s story was good, but I think it should have belonged somewhere else. As for Barris, her first episode was good, but the next two were very upsetting. We got no more Vader, Barris lasted as an inquisitor for 14 minutes, and we were given a random death scene for her. We needed the Empire to have a greater involvement in the story of both characters and we needed Barris to stay an inquisitor for longer.
The second Barriss mentioned for her team to fly away to a “friend” I was at the edge of my seat cause there are only so many people that could mean and I refuse to believe it’s someone we never heard of before.
As soon as they referred to the male Jedi as "they," I canceled disney plus. Filoni and Favreau were the only things giving me hope. They get rid of Favreau and Filoni ends up falling to the rainbow side. Therefore, I'm completely done with this stuff.
Really good video. How do you think it compares to Tales of the Jedi from last year? I think they could’ve chosen two better and more interesting characters than Offee and Elsbeth. Do you think they’ll release a tales series like this every year?
I liked tales of the Jedi more, was more impactful overall save one episode. I do think we’ll see these more and more. The potential is limitless! And thank you for the compliment!
I mean Ahsoka did say she was responsible for helping build the Imperial Starfleet in Mandalorian, and she was in charge of building the Eye of Sion in Ahsoka, it’s established that she has skills in the field of starship construction
She is the one who oversaw/designed the Eye of Sion and also ran an imperial shipyard on Corellia that was featured in Ahsoka. It's fair to say that engineering became part of her portfolio post nightsister genocide. And she is clearly part of the Empire especially after the second episode

All fair points. One felt like tales of the nightsisters while the other tales of the inquisitors.

My thought was Ahsoka

I’m going to be honest, I completely missed that on my first viewing. I may have been distracted as I felt the episode was highly rushed anyhow.

This is such a polarizing show. People either love or hate it. I'd give it an 8/10.
Meanwhile I’m at a 7 lol
Wait what. Its not even out yet.
Review embargo lifted today. Had an early access screening.
@@curranatorproductionsnice
Everything but episode one was trash
How?
@@curranatorproductions very anticlimactic, wasted potential, the writing was awful. Barris especially.
So the TIE defender project was Morgan's idea????? She is not even an Engineer nor member of the Empire....... this show was trash
This….is not a good reason to say it was trash? Who cares if she was an engineer or not?
