As a Filipino (Philippines) I can confirm this is accurate 🥲 the only thing we like to study is when a teacher tells a joke about subject and tells a story.
It's the same in Indonesia! The school experience hardly depends on how the teacher acts. The combination of being a funny and serious teacher will make us love studying the subject.
Allowance Your crush crush you back Teacher endless storytelling Teachers corny joke(We only laugh for additional grade) And then finally we wouldn't do our chores
Bullying is also a major problem in Japanese schools. Even the Emperor's daughter, Princess Aiko, was bullied when she was at school (in fact, it got so bad that she was too scared to even want to go to school at all). However, in Japan's honour-based society, even school bullies regard it as dishonourable to target those with special needs or disabilities (in contrast to the United States, where those with special needs, particularly autism, are often mercilessly bullied at school).
In Indonesia, our school experience depends on the teacher. If the teacher is funny and nice (Which is my teacher!) school would be a blast. But if the teacher is..... really, really mean..... alot of my friends end up skipping class
As a Malaysian, I confirm this is true, all we do is basically sit all day.. The only time we get to walk is when we wanna go to toilet, or when it's break time
As a Turkish 8th grade student, i agree. They drown us with exams. We are having exams twice a week, after April the teacher said "We will do exams everyday!"
As a fellow Turkish 8th grade student, apart from the normal exams we have, I think LGS is needed to actually pull a good student and a good school apart from the others, this way, the students with self-respect won't have to be at the same place with the ones who don't.
@@beneaththeoceanwaves well it’s accurate in a way but in the other way if we ask students their opinions they will all say that LGS should not be done to students, and some students are winning really good high schools, but can’t go to there because it’s so far away. As a student who experienced this whole situation and having to go 60 kilometers everyday just to get better education,I think that it’s really unnecessary thing to put literally just 14 year old children in an exam which will decide their whole life. I think that an important exam ,which separates good students from ‘others’ , should be done at university, when you’re old enough. I really get worried when I’m that far away from my home, and it’s all for education. I’m not complaining about my school tho,it’s worth it , but do we really need to suffer like this? And we have another issue, which is students not being good at math and making mistakes on that subject, which goes to lower grades. Not everyone has to do math to be honest, as someone who is better at other classes, this is not fair. I don’t deserve to go to such schools with bad students, which will effect my life,my grades and my habits. I wrote such a long paragraph, I’m just trying to say that NOT everyone that can’t do math is equal with students who can’t do anything at all.
@@beneaththeoceanwaves and it’s not really about “self-respect” ,it’s about the way that u study, the much time and work u put on it. As someone who regrets their mistakes at studying, after a short time, ur motivation goes downwards ,because you are tired! Even though you have ‘self respect’ it doesn’t matter. Everyone gets tired. Some people can deal with it , and some don’t. I think that teachers should understand this.
@@blueoasiss "Some people can deal with this, and some cannot." and they should do their best to deal with it, and with math in the question, there is no such thing as 'trying so hard yet still failing'. Some just have to study more on a topic than the other, but either way, with enough studying, anyone can success in math if they aren't so pessimistic that is stops them from learning it. You just have to dedicate a year of your life to studying and then things will be way easier in the next 4 to 5 years, even university, the students who don't want LGS just aren't trying to be mentally strong enough, they are so used to studying only the last day due to the exams that they can't sit down at their desk for more than 20 minutes, they have to get out of their comfort zone so that they could expand it later.
As a Brazilian I can confirm that that perfectly describes the 'new high-school' and its totally useless subjects, bro this year I'm gonna have 'Comunication, Health and Healthcare', 'Diseases', 'Linguistic Variation', 'Synthetic Comunication', 'Socioambiental conscience' and 'Sex education' as *some* of the new subjects, excluding the bad famous 'Life Project', the worst of those all.

I am a Turk and I am a 9th grade student in the field of health because not only the exams but also the courses in the education system in Turkey are heavy, but anatomy and basic professions are very difficult.

For the Malaysian part, the reason why I sat all day long in class is because the teacher said, "if you want to pass your exams and succeed in life, you must learn new skills and answer tough questions"

No We Don't Hate our INDIAN Schools , We like to do Homework which given by teachers ❤️

I don't hate school
I like it
Students in America don’t hate school because of busses A lot of kids in America suffer from depression from American schools maybe because of drama or having no friends? American schools may have good education and stuff but there’s reason there’s so many school memes about American schools.
