Isaac celebrates his favorite character’s ninetieth birthday by sharing the story behind Walt Disney and his team’s creation of Mickey Mouse.

The legacy of Walt Disney endures as a story of a man who made his dreams become reality. He became praised as a master storyteller, released the industry defining first feature length animated film, constructed a magical Disneyland, but Walt always believed the most pivotal moment in his career which allowed him to create and innovate in all of his other projects came from the creation of the legendary character Mickey Mouse. Since Mickey’s creation in 1928 he has become a symbol of Disney’s optimistic perspective, has become one of the most recognizable characters across the world and has resonated in the hearts and minds of generations of children, but what caused Walt and his team of animators to create Mickey decades ago?

I really admire animators (the ones that draw things by hand) and their patience and attention to detail to make the characters and scenes move. As far as which character I would animate----it's a hard one--maybe Indiana Jones.
I’m so glad that Walt persevered, and ended up with the Disney Empire. Mickey Mouse is definitely the most powerful mouse in the universe. I really enjoyed this historical video, Isaac!

Actually according to Walt Disney in a interview Mickey and Minnie Mouse in private are married.

This video is one of my favorites, Isaac. Thank you so much for telling me about Walt Disney and his life. I've the classic Mickey mouse cartoons and they are just so cute and funny.
It all started with a rabbit. Oswald turned 90 last year, but where was his love? Mickey turns 90, and suddenly what little Oswald merchandise existed is clearanced out and his only meet and greet removed.
I know... it's really sad.
True... at least Oswald is getting some love. Because with out him there may not have been a Mickey Mouse.
Oswald to me will always be the original.

That made Walt Disney realize that because they didn't own Oswald he could create Mickey,looking a little different than Oswald and with the stories he really wanted to make. It was a blessing in disguise. Now,as far as animated characters that I would create, I have a whole lot of characters that I have already made as an amateur artist,nothing published but just for fun along with many imaginary stories inside my head.

The history of a famous mouse!
Well, I have created my own superhero. He's quite complicated. Like and favorite if you want to hear more.
Well, for starters, his name is Foxpatriate. Now he actually has very few natural superpowers. He’s also a Jedi so that’s where his natural superpowers come from. Using the Force gives him telekinetic abilities and also enables him to sense others’ thoughts among other things. Now he got his name because he dresses like a fox and he’s an American Patriot. He has a fox mask which also gives him Night Vision powers. He also wears the colors of a fox, but the way he wears them is kinda dated. He has a white undershirt with an American design on it, he has an orange over shirt and he wears orange cargo shorts with tall black boots to finish off the ensemble. He also wears an American Stars and Stripes design for a cape. He also has a jet pack with retractable wings which enables him to fly. He does have a few weapons at his disposal as well. He has his lightsaber as well as a modified AR-15 which he calls the Eaglefire, although he mostly just uses that for long-range engagements. He’s also well trained in hand-to-hand combat. His fighting style is Kung Fu. Also he does have a sidekick but I haven’t worked out all her details yet. And that’s pretty much it. Just a small independent superhero I came up with. I have dressed up as him for Halloween though. Also even though I’m mostly a Marvel fanboy if I was to patten this character I would patten him for DC Comics. That’s only because he shares adversaries with Batman.
I can wait for November 18th I really really really can't wait

Not to sound to cliche on this but if I was to create a cartoon character, might be a regular red fox or a white one. I know Fox characters have been done in a number of shorts or movies. Then again could try for The Last Air Bender or the Legend of Korra approach with the animals being a combination of 2 creatures, so could go with a fox an another animal type character fusion?
Been trying to get into animation, so far not much luck and still working on doing better in drawing better so got to start someplace.
