My thoughts on this very fresh, sparkling Citrus Aromatic fragrance from Parfums De Nicolai. This is uber citrusy and very herbal a bit metallic/sharpness appears as well with some light ozonic touches so I feel it's perfect to wear in the heat of the summer in hot, humid settings. They did a release party of this one at a local boutique here in Miami, Osme Perfume. Got a travel size of this one when I picked up NY Intense
Perfums de Nicolai is my favorite perfume brand. Patricia de Nicolai is a great perfumer. I have met her when launching Riviera Verbena in my country last year. Beautiful scent.
That's great. I agree great house but underhyped.
I like the way Patricia blends her fragrances. Just the right amount of space between the notes, with excellent use of florals for that classic edge you mentioned. Still a big fan of Cap Neroli (probably my #3 now after Patchouli Intense and Caravanserail Intense), although I'd class it more as a floral scent than a citrus one. Very interested to try this one!

This is my favorite time of year because I am one of those people for whom Spring & Summer green, earthy and aquatic fragrances, basically anything with a sharpness or brightness to it, vastly outshines most spicy, sweet, or drab fall-winter type scents. Some people consider the former to be less mature and have less variety than the latter; I couldn't disagree more, and I can never get enough bright, uplifting fragrances. Thanks for sharing this one, it sounds sublime.
I am excited to try this one. I enjoy summer freshies and am looking for something different. I don't have any verbena focused scents so this sounds like I would like it.

Great review for a great fragrance. I got this last year and can't stop wearing it. I only keep it for the warm days though so I'm waiting for it to heat up so I can pull it out.

You just got me to watch your video where you visited Nicolai's Paris shop/lab, and your top five video that included the interview (one complaint, the interview was to short, would have liked to hear more from her). This is a house I'd like to learn more about and to get my nose on their offerings. My wife and I do have a trip to Paris at the end of the year and am hoping to make it to their shop.

It's a shame that Riviera Verbena doesn't seem to get much attention because it's one of my favorite fresh fragrances. The opening is just phenomenal. It's incredibly bracing and the citrus is heavenly. I also get insane longevity for a fresh fragrance, easily smelling it 10+ hours later. It's a perfect choice for warm weather. Hopefully your review turns more people onto it.

Love PDN but I understand that her classic sensibility is not fashionable. She has made some of my favourite fragrances and many of my favourite fresh scents 💚
This sounds intriguing. I have New York and New York Intense and I just picked up Caravanserail, which is really delicious, coffee cardamom, cinnamon, one of those.It's great now in springtime, but yeah, probably not for hot new york summer nights. Glad to have it though! Classy house!

Patricia was in Hamburg/Germany and showed us how she created this perfum ( at Parfum Lubner Store) . It took her one year. She is a very nice person. Still New York Intense is my favorite but I did combine it with Verbena R. 🎉

I've been in love with one of Patricia's classy creations for the longest time. I am the kind of guy that only allows myself to purchase only one fragrance from each Perfume house. I have been wearing Ney York intense for almost an entire year nonstop even in hot warmer months of summer. I freaking love this stuff. It's like the next pokemon evolution of Bois du Portugal lol. The longevity and overall performance is phenomenally out of this world. Almost as the same comparison of Creed's Aventus and Nishane Hacivat. I much more classier, improved, stronger version of an overpriced not fairly hyped fragrances by Creed. I enjoy it so much I keep reminding myself pretty much on a weekly basis to add to my collection another creations of hers. Even though I have this particular rule about purchasing one from each house I am highly, extremely interested in sampling all of her fragrances in their catalogue. Cap Neroli is the one I am most interested in. I am definitely going to order samples of the other ones also. I feel like and get the sense of that the DNA of this house is that good and it is felt throughout all of their fragrances I am fairly creating high expectations about them and cannot wait to get my nose on them and appreciate each and every one of them. Thank you Sebastian for another great introduction and your guidance is very much appreciate it by me. Strong hug from me I highly appreciate your commitment for creating new videos on a daily basis! Watching your videos are to me as a grown up what Pokemon was for me growing up. Highly entertaining,fun and at some level very educational! I've known of this house for ages but there's nowhere to smell the perfumes near me. I grow verbena in the summer and it smells super lemony and lovely. I think I would really like this fragrance! As for egg hunts on a website, I got that invite in a email but seriously, who has time for hunting all over a website to find eggs? Not me, I'm not 8 years old, lol :o)

The only Nicolai fragrance I've tried so far is Patchouli Intense. That one wasn't for me, smelled strongly of green bell peppers on my skin and couldn't handle it. However, I'm still very interested to try some of her other works. That yuzu one sounds like something I would enjoy.
Yes there certainly is a green bell pepper vegetal vibe to it. The Patchouli Intense that is. It's a totally different take on Patchouli.

This sounds great. I used to have a lemon verbena plant. Smelled amazing. How would you say you can pair it to Fig Tea? Do you like it more or less? Or are they not really comparable? I've been considering getting a bottle of that for the summer.
Love the lemon verbena so yes this is perfect also in the heat. Fig Tea is so different. Cozy and fruity. This is fresh, sparkling, citrusy and aromatic herbal.

Riviera Verbena doesn't sound like a safe blind buy for me- I'm not the biggest fan of green or herbaceous fragrances. Fortunately this brand is available in store to try at Dubai Mall.
