Greetings from Ohio, really enjoyed your video, and a couple of others, and you are a great teacher. Your style of water over in PA is similar to what we have over here, smaller water, and I think many of the same baits and techniques will work.

I have had great success with the LC Pointer 78. I bought a bunch from Ollie’s for $7.99. Dynamite lure and a fraction of the price of MB Vision 110.

Thanks BlessedOne, that size has done very well for me too in the past. Lots of smallies on it.

Den, Thanks, very informative video, I've had some success at Lake Wallenpaupak with Lucky Craft Lightening Pointer 98XR and the Ito Megabass Vision 110 as well, the Ghost Minnow color is great, Chartreuse Shad works well. Good opportunity to compare observations. Seems like the Lucky Craft is more cost economical, but both the Lucky Craft and Ito Megabass are very good for Quality Control and consistency. I think an interesting piece of engineering went into the weight balancing/transfer system of the Ito Megabass Vision 110 (2 ball bearings roll backward and forward in an elongated track).

Thanks Bob. No doubt about it, that vision 110 is the standard bearer in the category. Excellent engineering thru and thru except maybe the hooks which tend to bend and break rather easily.

Looking to buy a twitching set up for top water and jerk baits. you mentioned a fast tip. What about the rest of the rod, length, action, etc? Also what line would you recommend? Thankyou very much for your videos. I always learn something.

for medium and large jerkbaits, I use 20lb Stealth braid with 10 or 8lb Seagar Invisx Fluorocarbon line. For small jerkbaits I used 10 lb braid with 8 or 6 lb flourocarbon. Hope this helps! Good luck.

Thanks, I think the best thing to do is to find a rod made for twitching jerkbaits. There are quite a few out there at different price points. What are you looking to spend? For line, see my response in other reply below. For me 6' 6'' is perfect length (I am not tall) A taller person may prefer bit longer rod.
