- Hey guys,
soalot of people don't know that their TQi's can be bounded to many many RC cars at once. And the TQi receivers can remember multiple remotes.
Check out this video, i'll be making a video about the profiles, and how to set the remote up, for each truck, as you go.
Thanks for watching, i hope this video helps you guys!
WOW, cant wait to go home and try this as I have 4 Traxxas. Looks way easy and if it works just like that....Hats off to ya Brother and THANK YOU!
I know it’s easier to have just one controller but if u have multiple the easiest way to keep track is to take a piece of masking tape n put it on the bottom of the remote n write the name of the rc it goes to
Well yea... But if you have 6 traxxas vehicles why bring 6 remotes?
Can you show us how it is done please and thank you
You just bind the truck to the controller like normal then you can use that controller for that truck
when I do this to my cars will i have to leave the receiver box open every time i use the truck with a different controller?
Does it retain the servo / throttle trims & adjustments?
That I am not a 100% sure on what I can tell you TQI has a steering trit's a steering trim right on the remote so whatever that set to is what it should be as for the trouble 8 points I'm not sure
Question for you, so I have a traxxas tmaxx 3.3 with factory installed telemetry, I installed a newer receiver with tsm, I have the app installed and now it won't read rpm or mph, temp and battery level is fine, I thought maybe the magnet sensor was off on flywheel, I bought a new one and installed it with no luck, so any suggestions would be great. Traxxas was no help when I contacted them.
do you know if the Traxxes TQi will bind to a Tactic tr325 receiver
I do not think so. ou might luck out, if its a generic of traxxas but i doubt it. sorry! :(
This work only with the tqi’s or will it work with the basic tq’s too??
Nvm I found my answer. That’s a no, Incase anyone was wondering the same. The basic TQ remote will only bind to 1 receiver at a time
Nothing wrong with TQI controllers. I have 14 trucks on one controller.
I can't get my TQi controller to go full speed with my Rustler VXL. I haven't used them for over a year. Settings 1 (Sport Mode) and 3 (training mode) both run the car at 50% speed. I thought it was the motor, so I just bought and hooked up a new Velineon motor but got the same results. ??? Can you help?
What I would recommend is reset the binding turn your truck on like normal then hold down the button on the receiver until it flashes turn the truck off and rebind your truck next you'll want to do is calibrate your remote you can look on CZcams for how to calibrate a vxl-3s
Richard Chilson thank u for your help. I did what u suggested and the controller is green and starts out fast but then goes red and into 50% mode within 2 seconds. I have it on sport mode (one red flash) when it starts.
Do u have any more suggestions? Could my vxl3s be bad? I have it hooked up to a brand new motor...
@@dcshilts what type of batteries are you running? lipos?
The reason i ask about what type of batteries you have, is there is two common problems with batteries that would cause a problem with the esc. first is there is 2 modes on the esc, one for nickle metal packs and one for lipos. the other issue is, if running lipos or a bad nihm pack, one throttle is applied the bad cell or battery can brownout, and that would cause the esc to go into "low voltage detection" which would cause the issues you described. 50% power, just enough to "limp" back to you.
What model control is that the model number you know
Traxxas 6528 - TQi Blue.
Can i buy one or two of your tqi transmitter? Thanks
im trying to sink my rustler and xmax cant get it to work with one controler
Is your wrestler a TQ or a tqi receiver. Make sure you're using the tqi controller it should sink with tqi and TQ receivers.
If you're having trouble getting the trucks to bind turn the truck on that you're having a problem with and push the reset button on the receiver
@@richardchilson5105 my problem was i didnt bind it first lol
How do you unbind them. Have a truck I'm about to sell. Its controller was used as master.
with the truck on and the remote on, push the bind/reset button on the receiver. what till it blinks, it'll turn red. or flash red, meaning unbinded.
hold it, and wait for the light to turn red
I couldn't get my TQi to bind to my 2 trucks
Hey outdoor life RC, sorry for the late response, which vehicles are you trying to bind? Are you making sure you turn the controller off and the truck off before binding/playing with another truck?
I had my friend who i bash with on Saturday's bind his TQI to 5 different slashes, some tqi some just regular TQ receivers, and he was able to drive them all.
The biggest issue, prolly the only issue I've had with this, is sometimes i forget to turn the remote off. have to turn the remote off and back on before it will look for the next truck. Please let me know if this helps, i will try and help ya get both of them trucks on that remote!
Richard Chilson Its no problem and I'll give all you said a try. I might have missed something. I was trying to bind my E-MAXX Brushless and 1/16 E-REVO VXL. Thanks for your help.
Please let me know if you cant get it i'll try and help ya. I am working on a video of using my BT enabled remote on multiple trucks, i'll try and get that video out sooner than later.
Did you have to buy all new receivers or all stock?
No sir, i already had a lot of TQi receivers. I will be trying some of the TQ receivers i have laying around in the near future.
please let me know if you have any other questions, or if i didn't answer this one good enough. thanks, have a great day!
I've watched some videos on the TQ radios and they all said they want multi bind.
