AIR FILTER REPLACEMENT FOR A CFMOTO CL-X 700

So of course it's the same on the sport model. I forgot to mention that there's two cables on the large peace that just pop off and on. I have 2,250 miles on it and just before I changed the air filter the engine light came on. I have to take it to the dealership to see if they can fix it.

That's a convenient design. On the CFMoto 400NK/SS series, the manual says air filter replacement should be done at an authorized dealership because those require gas tank removal and complete disconnection to access the air filter (risking fuel spillage).

What was the issue with the engine light? I am considering the sport model.

It was the rear anti lock brake system and my dealer ordered a replacement right away and got me going.
