Resonable question. I listened a second time and could easily tell they're not a doo-wop group. No criticism, just an observation. They're singing the correct notes and have nice harmony but are missing the vocal nuances of the doo-wop style. AND...they have two female voices yet refrain from giving us the soaring vocal range of the original's angelic male falsetto. Look. The original is so good that I guess I'm spoiled.
