That story of your little one waking up is something I can relate to. My daughter is 7 years old now and I remember those sleepless nights when she was little. Being a single dad isn't easy at all but knowing that I did everything I could to make sure my little girl was taken care of is one of the best feelings ever! I've tried to decorate a little this year for Easter, but I wanted to go for more of an Ostara vibe - this ghoul is embracing her inner witch! I've not been able to find things that match exactly with what I want, so I've not done as much as I wanted, but maybe I'll be better prepared next year! Thanks for another fun video, Jade. as an adult/military spouse(i move a lot) I don't really decorate but when I was a kid my mom would go hard on Easter. it was a very catholic house, we also watched the Vaticans Easter service. we had an Easter tree, decorations, I got an Easter basket every year up until I graduated college. however, my husband took me to Walmart for an Easter stuffie yesterday 🥰

There are these Nightmare Before Christmas pins that are holiday (Jack Skeleton with Christmas, Easter, Saint Patrick's Day, Thanksgiving, Halloween, etc.) mystery pins. So, if you love halloween decor but want something fun for other holidays, and love pins, this is for you! I bought a few for my dad--who is a pin collector.

Try letting the peeps sit out with the bag opened for a few days so they get hard and chewy. They are delicious that way imo

Time fly's when you get old. Seems just like yesterday I was super depressed because the season was over and I honestly was not sure I'd see another Halloween. I'm still here! Ready to see the hunt, and hopefully to see the big day again.

First day of spring we try to prank each other blasting the song “Brand New Day” from the 80s movie Rainbow Brite and the Star Stealer because it’s all about spring lol 😂 we get up, decorate, go for a walk, start our veggie garden seedlings, it’s a whole thing. Enjoy!!
In my area last year, Old Time Pottery was first with the Halloween decor in early/mid June followed closely by At Home in mid/late June, then Home Goods in late June. Can't wait!!!
Not too bad as far as what you found. I lightly decorate for spring with a fleck of Easter a little heavier only if we’re hosting the Easter dinner at our house. I really haven’t bought too much in the past 10 years because it’s not too fun for me now that we are empty nesters . Maybe once we have grandkids I’ll have Easter egg hunts and all🐰

At Home was first with Halloween last year in mid June. Hobby Lobby had fall stuff out before that, beginning of May. I can’t wait! That’s the only reason I look forward to summer 🤣
Today, the day after St Pats day. Went to Michael’s (Tucson). Looking at signs at end of aisles. Two aisles marked for Halloween!!!!! Still had Easter in those aisles but picked over. Store had 70% store-wide sale since Friday!!! I did a serious double-take but Halloween! Had they left the aisle signs up since last November?

The first time I bought anything Easter decor was when I had my first baby too. It was mostly for a home photo shoot. I might break it out again this year for the second baby for photos but that might just be wishful thinking. The first one was easier since she was the only baby and she was six months old, now there’s two and the second will only be 2.5 months at Easter and mama is tiiiiiiiiired.

When my kids were little I decorated a lot more for Easter. Since they have grown into older teens I passed much of my cutest decor on to friends with young kids and kept a small amount of classic spring decor. Thank you for your sacrifice of trying the Dr.Pepper peeps and pickle jelly beans! My husband loves Dr.P and I'll have to get those now, but I'll pass on those garlicky jelly beans😝
My boyfriend's snoring was waking us both during the night-and he ended up getting a C-pap machine & no more snoring! Might be something you ghouls wanna check out.
I keep telling him about this cuz my dad has one! I can sleep with the sound of a machine cuz I love a good fan on, but snoring makes me on another level of angry 😂😂😂
Same, and I am a chill person, but snoring is another level! lol. I have a white noise machine that helps me sleep on top of the C-pap sound. The snoring was so bad for our health, and our sleep quality has improved since he got one. You can also find refurbished ones for way less if he just wants to test it out. @@JadeTheLibra
Well, I work for a major retailer and a week ago, or so, I was putting something away in the back and saw Halloween gift bags. Big ones, but just the one design. That being said, all the new stuff I see coming in is proper spring, so I think we might see retailers do a separate Easter and a separate proper spring decor thing this year and we might still see Halloween more at the end of May. I know a lot of people have been predicting early Halloween. We shall see, though! I know what I’d prefer! Although, if Halloween comes out tttttooooooo early, then it probably means a super early Christmas, too. Meh?

At home started selling stuff I think the first week of June last year but my store didn’t get anything until the last week of June. I remember I went hunting to see it and I had to go to Joan’s for some reason on June 30 and they were full blown Halloween all on sale. I have no idea when they put up Halloween so I feel like June will be at home/joan.

All i did for easter was redo my wreath lol although i do have my birthday coupon for at home so maybe. I got one of those big chicks from walmart last year on clearance.

If you have a Trader Joe's grocery store near you, they have the most awesome dill pickle potato chips I've ever found. They're called Chip in a Pickle. They don't always have them, but they're in my store in CA now.
