God, I love Isshin, heâs such a fucking badass for a chill old dad.
I love the contrast between his usual goofy behavior and how he is when he's handling biz.
Man it's such a shame that we never got to see his Bankai to this day
Isshin being a Shinigami is really a big reveal. It's gonna change your perspective on the whole story... Also Ishida's father still having his powers will make you think that Ishida is not "The Last Quincy"
And then the introduction of Vizards

Honestly i like Visored more than Vizard. A visor and a mask are pretty similar, you put them on to cover your face. But Vizard sounds like wizard, which would make sense in BtW story but makes no sense in main storyline/Japan.

During the airtime and ongoing manga about this series, it was quite a shock to us viewers and readers a decade ago...and when Ishin Kurosaki revealed to be a shinigami, a lot of speculations and questions just popped up right away like, where the hell has he been all this time when his family were in danger???, what is his back story? How old is he??, why is he living the outside world and not soul society? Was he in hiding?? Does he have past connections with Uruhara, yoroichi and Ryuken?? And then when the final arc came, everything is explained...ishin is a goat character...

The guy is hilarious. Man, Bleach has so many great side characters.
Oddly enough, they just kept the filler characters through out the whole series, so they'll just randomly pop in every now and then.
So now you have 50 % of the reasons why Ichigo have his own Soul Reaper powers...Also a lot of people miss it but Isshin has a Captain Shiakusho on him but just broken enough to not know which squad he was !
Well his former squad will be revealed in the future.

It's heavily foreshadowed (from ichigo having the same kind of relationship with them(specifically with Ganju) then with his dad to the heavy similarity (Kukkaku=Karin, Ganju=isshin and Ichigo being a orange haired Kaien)) not to mention Kukkaku helping them so much (given her personality) and its revealed later that she know Ichigo is Ishin's son(though we don't really know how or when she learned it)

So when they say captain level they are actually referring to the broad power level of captains and lieutenants. This is why both captains and lieutenants have limiters put on them when they go to the living world like Renji mentioned.

@@Step43099 But why? Shinigami are fully capable of reproduction, and a human with reiatsu can interact with souls. We've seen powerless (but not reiatsu-less) Ichigo kicking shinigami Rukia. Masaki very well could have smashed shinigami Isshin, seeing as she is a quincy and as such has high reiryoku

I would watch the Mixed Fillers. They are like 70% canon, with only a few things referencing a Filler Arc or character.
Like, the Bount Filler just introduced 3 new Mod Souls similar to Kon, which will be present in the anime going forward.

Ishin was Captain but after certain event (made by Aizen) he left Soul society, no one knew where he was, his 3rd leutenant became Captain later, and it never was in anime or in manga but autor confirmed that members of his squad actualy seen him, but decided left him in his own life if he was happy

If you guys are confused there are 2 types introduced in these episodes -: 1. Viserod are those who were previously soul reapers but turned into hollow also like ichigo and 2. Arrancar , these guys are originally hollows and have gained soul reapers powers .

Isshin being a captain and rukia not knowing about him is one of the biggest plot hole in the series Infact rukia is a shinigami since 50 years from the start of the series and isshin was a captain up until 20 years ago so she should have known about him, if he was a random seat from some squad that would have make sense but the captains are well known in souls society between the souls reapers being the strongest and the leaders of the 13 squads. She didn't know about Kisuke being the 12th squad captain because he was exiled about 100 years ago and way before she entered the academy, but 20 years ago she was in souls society and left only 10 years before the start of the story.
Not a plot hole at all. Isshin has aged 20 years and has no apparent spirit pressure to Rukia. He also has had children which would eliminate any suspicion. She also likely never had any interaction with Isshin as she was a low seated officer and spent majority of her time training.
It's like expecting someone to recognize a classmate they never interacted with from 20 years ago
@@andrewrenshaw2741 she is part of the kuchiki family, even if she is a low ranking member (which was byakuya to pull the strings) she has seen many captains from when they go to meet her brother, and isshin is the same as 20 years before because souls reapers don't grow old at the same rate as humans. Plus there are some others connection that are spoilers so I won't mention them but with those she would definitely have knowledge of isshin.

if you want to skip filler thats cool but i would watch the mixed cannon episodes cause you could miss important information. spirtually powered biengs can create footholds from rieshi ( spirit particales) which also makes it possible to walk on air. the three that helped kon are mod souls like him. yes he was a captian and a soul reaper the whole time great reveal in the series.

Do NOT skip mixed canon, because you're skipping the canon parts too. Just ignore the filler parts unless you got an editor to edit that stuff out. Like imagine if you skipped this one, you'd miss a good few reveals and info.

The filler is mixed because itâs technically canonical. It comes down to your definition of filler. People donât like the arc and itâs not in the manga so itâs called âfiller.â It was overseen by Kubo so itâs similar to the movies in that itâs non canon to the manga but canonically occurs. Does the manga indicate canon or Kubo? If Kubo does itâs not filler. If the manga does it is filler. Itâs fully integrated too with Kuboâs creative influence. People really donât like the arc though and itâs similar to the movies in that because itâs a side story you technically donât need it to watch the show. Itâs just character development thatâs inconsequential to the main story arc.

If you skipped all the mix canon, you'll be left out on a lot of info. and you may need to skip more or less a hundred of em if you do wanna skip mix, also the whole Zanpakutou arc is mix technically. Just watch the filler on a separate date is also fine. but if you watch all the fillers is way batter in my opinion đ

Everything will be explained as the story goes on like Ichigo beating Kenpachi and Byakuya. That looked like an asspull for someone who just started bleach but that is explained in the upcoming final arc.
