Uhm, what? Scott Summers' power is that his eyeballs are portals to a dimension brimming with reddish kinetic energy. His body absorbs cosmic radiation to have this power but he has no particular relationship with the Sun.

Superboy is 16 weeks old but he was aged up to 16 years so he is smack in the middle of puberty, it kinda explains his personality he does grow and get better with time in the comics.

Cyborg Superman's story in the comics is actually super sad. He was on an astronaut team funded by Lex Corps with his wife and his two best friends. Cosmic rays from Superman throwing the Eradicator into the sun hit their shuttle and they all developed really shitty superpowers that either slowly killed them or put them in unbelievable pain. Hank was rapidly aging and his wife was phasing into another dimension. The four went to Lex Corps to find cures but Superman thought they were villains and fought them. Clark realized his error, and tried to help them. The two friends couldn't take the pain anymore and killed themselves, and Clark had to choose between helping Terri or helping Hank. Hank forced him to save Terri, so Hank died of old age. Little did anyone know that he actually downloaded his consciousness into the Lex Corps database and built himself a robot to control. When he tried to find Terri, she was so horrified at his appearance she killed herself. With nobody left, Hank put his mind into Superman's ship that had delivered Clark to Earth. He used this to explore the universe and reflect. He realized it was Superman's fault that the cosmic rays hit his ship and devoted his life to revenge. He used a sample of Clark's DNA from the ship and technology from the villain Mongol to create a new body for himself made of Mongol's alien tech and Superman's genetic material. He returned to Earth to kill Clark, but Clark was already dead from his battle with Doomsday. So Hank impersonated him to ruin his legacy. He planned to destroy every major city in America. He successfully destroyed Green Lantern's city (Coast City), which drove Hal insane and caused him to massacre the other Green Lanterns. After Clark returned and beat him, Hank continued to seek revenge until eventually he grew tired of the pain of living without Terri and sought nothing but death. He found that he wasn't able to kill himself due to the durability of his Kryptonian tissue and the self repairing nature of his alien tech. He joined the Sinestro Corps to use his control over machines as a bargaining chip so he could get the Anti-Monitor to fulfill his wish and kill him. The last page of that story was Hank's corpse floating in space when it is retrieved by his robot minions, a single tear falling down his face as he realizes he can't even die.

Hank show again a few years ago. Form a team to kill Superman ( where includes Metallo, the Erradicator and even General Zod) but got betrayed by Zod and got send to the phantom zone.
henshaw is absolutely my favourite superman villain His sad backstory leads to him losing his mind, his anger driven by genuine madness leading him to have a special hate for superman that's possibly even MORE viscious and venomous than Luthor's
Shame DC seems to keep wanting to make him the villain for OTHER heroes like Green lantern and, even less fittingly, Supergirl, making a verion of him who was the character in name only an was instead supergirl's evil dad for some reason.

@@a.a677 Biologically he is Clark and Lex Luthor. Because of Clark’s DNA being the more dominant of the two that’s why he Physically looks like Clark & has his powers. While he inherited Lex’s intellect only. He’s a clone which mean he is a modified lab built version of the original.
the voice actor for Superboy is the same actor who plays Joker in Gotham and the actor who voice Steel is the same actor who plays Black Lightning

This is a very shortened and somewhat altered version of the comic book story. In the comics each of the four Supermen got their own monthly title for a year before they revealed who they were. Each spent months trying to prove they were the the replacement for Superman.
The clone claimed he was made using Superman's DNA. The Cyborg claimed to Superman's body brought back using Kryptonian science. The "Last Son of Krypton" guy with the shades claimed to be Superman's energy reconstituted into a new form. The Man of Steel was a human engineer who was saved Superman and decided to take on the mantle, returning the favor by helping others. Some believed he was possessed by Superman's spirit.
Steel never claimed to actually be Superman and iirc activly rejected the claim.

Superboy, im not quite sure what he repesents but my best guess is that he represents the fact that superman is just as much human as he is kryptonian
Cyborg superman is supposed to represent the alien nature that superman sometimes feels towards the people of earth

Steel represents the spirit of the old, he's very different in appearance and skill but his heart remains the same
Cyborg is the old face but in a newer, darker look. A seeming update for an old classic. (of course, its also to make him stand out as the villain, being the one who fits the least)
Eradicator represents the darker age, the age of the murdering anti-hero. He also represents a superman at his most cold and impersonal, the most alien.

Fun tidbit, this Superboy is based of his earlier rendition. YJ's superboy looks like his later rendition, but his angsty personality isn't really the same. Comicbook Superboy was always a lot more lighthearted.

The guy who volunteered to be a Cyborg hero from Superman is the guy beat up and mugged in the beginning of the movie, Superboy saved them
That is one of my favorite looks for Superman, the black suit with the silver symbol, long hair and stubble is perfect. I wish they went with that full look in the Snyder cut.
Snyder wanted to do that but wb said no as they believed no one wanted to see that they also didn't want the black suit so Snyder color graded the red and blue suit black since wb wouldn't give him one

I forgot how good this movie was, especially in the ending where they REALLY capture in both the voice actor's performance and the animation just how unhinged and mad Cyborg SUperman is. I was SO worried when they revealed Darkseid was the mastermind they change Cyborg Superman to more of a subservient character, but they didn't and that's great.
Superman's death sparked some of the biggest events in DC and created strong returning villains in Cyborg Superman and Hal Jordan(Green Lantern).
Superboy/Connor Kent- Lab creation mixed with Superman and Lex Luthor DNA. Also the same character in Young Justice.
Steel/John Henry Irons- Star labs employee that made a metallic suit made out of scrap from a kryptonian space shuttle.
Eradicator- Androids built by Krypton serve to protect other kryptonians or in this case Superman.
Cyborg Superman/Hank Henshaw- In this universe he's an astronaut killed when his Doomsday crashed into his rocket but brought back to life with Apocalypse Tech.

If this started as n the comics you wouldn't be so confused at the beginning. Seeing Eradicator coming from the Fortress of Solitude and getting to know that Superboy registered the name Superman for him (I mean he got the copyright to be called Superman legally), and also starting with a flashback in which Superman saves John Henry Iron's life and this man asks: "How can I repay you?" and Superman asnwers: "Make it worthy", and so he tried to do so.

Fun fact: Cyborg Superman was based off Reed Richards. In the comics? His wife and 2 friends were astronauts gifted with fantastic abilities after being exposed to radiation. They all died and with Hank slowly decaying, he transfered his consciousness onto an AI. His origin and crew is meant to mirror the Fantastic Four
