- A CNC laser cut gingerbread house in the shape of the Maynard Clock Tower seemed like the thing to make this week... so I WENT FOR IT. It's like normal gingerbread house making, but with CNC machines. What could possibly go wrong?

Such a fun idea! I’m impressed with your success with making the gingerbread a consistent thickness to make it work! You might want to get a laser spatula to help place and remove and future confectionery based projects.
This was awesome! At first in my head I was like where do you find gingerbread stock to put in the laser, then I saw you go to the grocery store to make it yourself lol, my baking knowledge is zero.
The amount of baking in 4/5 days was easily the most insane part of this whole idea. I didn’t really think about it either 😬😬😬

Haven’t tried this myself, but I would think a pasta machine might work. But I have the ancient method of having a grandma do it
If you ever decide to do this again, I can tell you how to get your gingerbread to act just like chipboard! The winner of the national gingerbread competition used a laser cutter to do their gingerbread house entry a few years ago.

Yes! I actually considered laser cutting myself some stoppers to roll the dough out on but decided against it with the time crunch this time
