  • The Elder Scrolls Morrowind is the 3rd entry to the fantastic video game series which created oblivion and skyrim. In fact, this is often regarded as the game that started it all and flung the elder scrolls series into the spotlight. Many would say that this is a perfectly balanced game with no exploits however today I will be using an exploit to glitch out the spell reflect in the game as well as infinite gold exploits with creative use of the games trading. Oh and a healthy dashing of infinite health, a glitch that makes you immune to damage. So yes 100% spell reflect only will be a unique challenge!
What you have seen here today is part of a fantastic perfectly balanced series on youtube where I go from game to game and break them with wacky exploits to gain things like unlimited gold. If you enjoyed this then be sure to check out more. The style is similar to RT game and callmekevin in parts. A large influence on this series has come from Valefisk and The Killian Experience.
So sit back relax and enjoy this Morrowind challenge!

The zero-sum individual is at least as dangerous as the Aldmeri Dominion...with their purposeful weakening of The Towers, and deliberate attempt to quash the worship of Tiber Septim/Talos. So...the big overarching metaphysical concepts of the Elder Scrolls are CHIM, and that existence itself is just the dream of an ultimate power. There are a lot of fan interpretations, and books in-universe and out-of-universe (but written by the former loremaster at Bethesda Michael Kirkbride) that give clues about all of this. The fundamentals are that CHIM is the recognition of the self as being bound by laws, and that to break those bonds requires the recognition of ecstacy that truly breaking those bonds would give...CHIM is the absolute expression of divine will...which is ironic because the gods themselves in their innate power, are hindered in the achievement of CHIM because they have fewer bonds to break. This travels down the line too...not only gods, but dragons too. Because dragons possess the innate Thu'um, they are lesser creators. The thu'um is not just some kind of simple guttural magic, it is actually a language which echoes creation magic and thus alters reality by its nature. This inherent power, and the lack of bonds of mortality by any non-divine means (the dragoborn wields the gift of Kyne with the blessing of Akatosh and is sort of twice divine by that fact). Because dragons are innately free from bonds, the instilling of a bond in the form of truly understanding mortality and how crushing it is to the sublime will by use of Joor Zah Frool (Dragonrend), literally robs them of much of their physical freedom, binding them to the ground. It is the only shout the dragons cannot learn or truly know as the very concept is alien to them right up to the moment they feel their soul being ripped from their bodies and devoured by a dragonborn. Essentially, the position both of meekness before the bonds which keep one in place, and the capacity for reason and growth, uniquely positions mortals to achieve CHIM. Famously, Talos most likely achieved CHIM before his apotheosis...and Vivec did as well, though his apotheosis was much more physical and temporary. While CHIM is the apotheosis of the will, the zero-sum is the use of the sublime will to declare the inherent absurdity of existence itself, thus placing the actualizer in a liminal state between existence and nonexistence. Depending on how deep one is willing to go with this string of lore, the proposal is that every time someone achieves CHIM and/or zero-sums, it becomes a point of absurdity...a tear in reality akin to a dragon break, only without the concurrence therein to serve as a logical patch...a truly dangerous thing which could undo all of the reality of the Elder Scrolls, as if reality is just a dream, then such points of absurdity could serve to wake The Dreamer. How many times have you awoken from a dream when you realize it's a dream? How real is your dream when you awaken?
tl;dr I've been obsessed with Elder Scrolls lore for 17 years now.

    1) Reflect only applies to spells. Not physical damage, and not just spell damage. The entire spell is reflected.

And yes spells ignored walls so you could hit an enemy with reflect behind an wall.
Solution was to use absorb health as it did not reflect as you stole health from the enemy and healed yourself, it has an good synergy with levitation.

Ey Spiff, due to npc's walking about it'd be safer to cast those soul trap spells over in the corner with the beds and the wardrobe.
Also I'd like to nominate the trick of doing near perminant levitation (Same method you've been showing here, just levitate with soultrap on target It clears upon reloading the save for some reason, not sure why) combined with speed having been boosted just enough to run outside the map. Oh and increased touch range via perminant telekenisis. Stole pretty much everything that wasn't nailed down with that method.... oh right, Perminant feather or whatever that carry capacity spell was too. Pretty sure I used that.... or did I just boost strength to massive levels? can't remember. Probably did both for redundancy's sake.
There's also this trick with bound weapons where if you quick switch with them repeatedly by holding down both of the quick swap buttons, the skill boost they give becomes perminant. ... might require the game to lag while the swapping occurs, can't remember. It's been a while

for the quick money from traders part at 23:00, just become an alchemist ( the broken intelligence spell makes your potions worth a good deal more) and sell them to the scamp in Caldera. He pays 100% of what an item is worth, no more though. So here's the workaround for alchemy ingredients. You set up house in the manor the scamp is in so you can store excess materials. You go across the street to the tavern guy, he's a Redguard. Buy some of his alchemy material, and sell it back to him. If you get the right ones, his inventory will double what he can sell permanently. I think it was scuttle and the flower... the pink ones that give feather. Maybe heather? Buy a crapton of those, make a crapton of potions, sell a crapton of potions to the scamp for 5k a day. You can also just carry around a few hundred of them for general trading. Also, murder all the orcs in that manor and hock their gear to the scamp for starting cash. With that you can buy most of the grandmasters or masters alchemy gear from the high elf in Balmora.

For its time it was great was also when my parents first acknowledged and accepted me being a gamer. They got the OG version for me as a gift and it holds a special place in my heart.... also spent hundreds and hundreds of hours in it and only beat it once lmao

I remember making a spell that summoned Daedric armour and weapons and simultaneously soul trapped, giving you free daedric goodies xD

The more hilarious aspect of this, is that there's cheat codes for the game, but they pale in comparison to what you can do by just exploiting the game's own mechanics. That's right, cheats for Morrowind aren't nearly as broken as the exploits Spiff has shown, truly marvelous.

@@you_tube6733 First time I ever played Morrowind, I rented it for the Xbox, way back in the day. I think this was before the Expansions & such, so it was the original, unpatched game.
At first, I played normally, but sometimes I would use those cheats, and, like going crazy in GTA, I would do all kinds of wild stuff.
After a while, though, I learned about the in-game exploits, like the perma-soultrap buffs, and actually stopped using the cheats.
      What a game, haha.

Todd Howard loved this game so much that he built every subsequent game he worked on with the same engine.
