- A VERY rough recut of the end of Rogue One. Imagine that this is pre-vis. I think that something along these lines makes sense, but I don't really feel like putting in the work to make it sound less jarring lol. Enjoy!

Overlaying the Leia scene audio onto the scene of Jyn and Cassian's last moments was a brilliant touch. Her implied presence is much more impactful than just showing CGI-Leia, and their ultimate sacrifice seals the symbolism of her words
Yes, I think it gets rid of the uncanny valley and it is better if we figure who it is rather than be told who it is. I also got rid of most of Grand Moph Tarkin and Vader for the same reasons. It is better to know they are there and not know their actions. That makes them a more intimidating presence.
The best, and sadest Star Wars movie so far, apart from the original trilogy naturally.
And that hallway scene made me so afraid because you know he’s at the other end of that whole Darth Vader it’s just sad because people didn’t stand a chance at Omai God, and seeing Leah at the end just made me cry
I will say on my first few watches I agree, the ending felt great. However, the more I thought about it the less sense it made. There is no reason that the plans should have gotten away from Vader, he has the force and knows what he is there to get so he should have simply crushed the plans and laid waste to them. If you see where I'm coming from. Other than that bit I think this movie is one of the best Star Wars movies made. Maybe my second fav!

The pivotal moment of Empire vs Rebel Alliance balance of power, the balance tipped slightly in favour of the Rebel Alliance, just enough to give them A New Hope...
That scene when Vader turned his lightsaber on got a few guys in the movie theater to shut out,"f@ck yeah!"

First season of Mando and Andor were pretty good imo. But no I agree in terms of movies! Also a novelization could be interesting. I imagine that would give us a more interior perspective on some of the characters which would be cool.
They should make a sequel to Rogue One. Would love to see how it turns out….

I wouldn’t say everything. I think that S1 Mando was quite good (if I remember correctly) and Andor was very good.

Like I said in the description it should be considered Pre-vis. I didn't really feel like doing that much because i spent like an hour on it late at night. My main focus was on the content and what I would have done with it if I was the editor. Since I don't have the footage I'm working with what I've got. There are certainly different aspects that I would like to have more of so that it makes more sense. Sound-wise, I didn't do anything to that; the music cutting is jarring, but again, Pre-vis. Honestly it was simply that I drove with some friends to a massive theater in another town to see Dune part 2 and then dinner and then I had the idea of fixing the end of it cause that was one of the only bits that I didn't like to much. I then got home at like 11or 12 and spent a tired 30min-60min on it and posted. I think it can certainly be better but the main themes and emotional moments that I wanted out of it I got in a, like I said in another comment, pre-vis version. Thanks for commenting! I appreciate it.
