In my opinion, this is why he’s one of the best to ever do it, never afraid of a challenge.
When he won conference league final and brought AS Roma to Europa league final I knew this guy is something more than a special 1 ! He is a magnificent 1. Roma WAS a top team years ago, before Jose took over they barely made it to top 6-7 and forget about European football. But when Jose got sacked he was branded he destroyed Roma and Di Rossi cleaning up his mess…. Seriously really……!?

This man won everything there is to win . Played 2 finals in the last 2 years. He had all the big saudi clubs begging him . He could have enjoyed life and probably be the richest manager ever and he still chose to stay in Europe and try to win a league that is still a top 10 European league and probably play the CL next season. His love for football and challenges is incredible . So much respect for this guy

@mrartdeco Roma fans love him. United fans think in hindsight he was badly treated. Chelsea fans would take him back. Real Madrid fans respect him highly. He's adored in Porto and Inter.
Only club he's been at that don't have affection towards him is Tottenham - and even they think he was harshly sacked before the cup final.

As a fenerbahçe fan, I am still in shock. No matter what people say about him, this is José fvcking Mourinho we're talking about. I don't have to pretend that my heart club Fenerbahçe is a top European team, we are not, so it's just unbelievable to see a coach of this stature with us. I am Portuguese, and I believe the Turkish league is very underrated. Okay, maybe it does not have the quality of players that the other Top 5 leagues have, but in terms of atmosphere, the only league that can compete with Turkey is probably England.
With that said, I'm really happy to see him there. I believe he will fall in love with the Turkish fans passion.

This is a dream come true for us Fener fans. We havent been able to compete in UCL since 2008 because of restrictions and legal issues. The last time we've made it to quarter finals. This year we finally have a chance to qualify for the first time in decade with JOSE MOURINHO. Excited for this journey and will support him all the way 💪

Yes, there is great hatred towards Fenerbahçe in the Turkish league. Especially Galatasaray and also our other rivals are supported. In the last 30 years, but especially in the last 10 years, many championships were stolen from Fenerbahçe. Especially many championships were given to Galatasaray. What I wrote are not the subjective comments of a fanatic Fenerbahçe fan. If you research the history of the Turkish league, especially the last 10 years, you will see it. Even if we do not count the championships before 1959, in 1989, Galatasaray and Beşiktaş had approximately the same number of championships and the sum of the two was not as much as Fenerbahçe. Before 1959, Fenerbahçe had 9 championships, Beşiktaş had 7 championships and Galatasaray had 1 championship. Finally, Fenerbahçe is the Turkish team with the most championships, with 28 championships.

Manchester United shouldve kept him, Chelsea tanked to fire him, spurs were bad before/after and Roma should've won Europa too so he didn't do bad there not great. Jose deserves better than Turkish league
He's won the league in England, Spain and Italy. Won all the domestic cups in those countries. Won all the international cups at Club level. Why not challenge himself somewhere new.
