I was traveling across North Dakota while it started snowing a lot, so I pulled into a rest stop to walk my puppy. I got out of my truck and had such an erie feeling that I got right back in and went to the next truck stop. The rest stop was so beautiful, and no one was there, but the fresh footprints in the middle of the road meant that someone was lurking out of sight. It was probably nothing, but I listened to how I feel. I could use my hole maker on an attacker, but there's a lot of crap I'd have to deal with if that would happen. Avoiding trouble is the simplest way to go.

The incidents seem to be ticking up since Biden proclaimed again that he would ban assault weapons. He don’t have much time left, so perhaps his puppeteers are going to try to put it on the fast track. All my friends had guns in the 70’s and 80’s and shootings were rare. It is everywhere now. There is no such thing as a safe place. Stay armed and be aware.
A really interesting vid I watched about a year ago did a fabulous job of bringing into focus how all this gun violence is manufactured & relatively recent, and a real good possibility that our controllers are behind 99% of them for obvious reasons.
The gentleman laid out facts & figures detailing the shootings in America for each decade going back to 1900, and for the exception of a mass shooting here or there, it was relatively rare until the year 2010 that is, then all of a sudden mass shootings spiked up 1000%! All of a sudden it became a common occurrence for a news story to mention that an "assault weapon" had been used, you have to then ask yourself ..Who came to power around 2010???

It can happen anywhere anytime, I live in a small town of 1,500 in North Central Kansas and carry everywhere I go. Keep my head on a swivel always.

Pull up a scanner app and listen to Detroit on a weekend in the evening/night. Interesting with a wide variety of bad stuff transpiring.
We live in Ohio, middle of nowhere.
We feel fairly safe here but are definitely too complacent.
We need to do better.
Live in a rural place. This county several murders a month. Always have been.
Many people don't realize that.

I have always said bad guys have cars. They are happy to come to you. Truth is, you are "safe" literally nowhere, and literally never. Many gun owners are aware of "transitional spaces". At least if you bothered to get any training anyway. But "regular folks", the ones that literally choose to be unaware. Generally are oblivious to the danger a simple parking lot, or rest stop can present. When I go to a Walmart it is smaller one, in a smaller town. Around 10k residents. I always go armed. And I always go at 6am. No crowds, I am in and out in 30 minutes to an hour....
i’ve seen crimes take place literally 50 times in my life, i’m 30, i think a lot of people can relate to that
