No hint there will be a breach of the peace whatsoever - unless they mean G4S might commit one. No proof to back up the allegation. The other party refutes and says they have recorded everything and that the initial caller might actually be the ones to have committed an offence. A reasonable Police officer would do BASIC investigations before acting on one-sided, refuted information. But no, they disregard one side of the report. Ask for details before asking what happened. Immediately threaten with the possibility of arrest and give the usual wishy-washy BS about public order but no reasonable grounds to act on that assumption. Perhaps these coppers have completely ulterior motives... I'm just guessing...

If they use s5 then the intent part is not required so the threshold would be lower. I agree, just keeping quiet is the best approach. The Cop makes his first big mistake when he refuses to act upon PTTP's complaint though he states that he intends to act upon that of the JS Staff. A FAILURE TO ENFORCE THE LAW WITHOUT FAVOR AND TO ACT WITH IMPARTIALITY. In this situation The Police Officer is not merely failing to act with impartiality butin fact criminalising the victim!
Using the public order Legislation is a potentially effective move by The Police and in other circumstances an appropriate one, however PTTP is expressing a RIGHT and the JS Staff are abusing him so it should fail in this situation.
The Police Officer is also failing in his duty to uphold PTTP's rights.
THIS IS THE POWER OF POSITIVE RIGHTS LEGISLATION.
So if there's a potential altercation (like this) between parties, whoever reports it 'first' is the one that's dealt with by the Police there and then according to this officer? Both allegations aren't considered simultaneously and the evidence examined to see who is telling the truth??? That doesn't make any sense whatsoever - unless that is the officer wants to pointedly favour one side over another 🤔
