- After a great mountain bike packing adventure in Wales with Neil, Blake wanted to challenge himself to ride, film and edit another GMBN epic completely by himself. Circumnavigating the island he calls home in the south of England over a long weekend, Blake shares with us some of the local history, sights and sounds from the saddle.

You should definitely create a Komoot route for this journey đCome to think of it, Blake should create a bunch of his favourite isle of wight cycle routes and whack em on Komoot!

This is probably my favourite gmbn video so far. Absolutely beautiful.
I pretty much grew up every summer in Cowes pissing around on boats and love the island. It brings back so many happy memories as i watch this from home in Sydney i suddenly find myself feeling so much closer to home.

Awesome edit! I can tell a lot of work went into it and the music synchronization is prime!
Love riding round the IOW, spent a few weekends exploring there over the years. It's really strange riding along the bridleways and finding the junctions in the middle of fields are properly signposted like the roads are! Done a few rides by parking on the mainland early in the morning, taking the bike over on the ferry (it's free, you just pay foot passenger rates) and done an all-day loop back to catch the late evening ferry back. Via a few pubs and cafes of course... Need to get a return trip arranged for next spring.

I 1st cycled the Isle of White back in 1990 on a road bike. It was great, even with the rain that started to pour down half way through my ride. It was cold but a blast! I did the entire island in one ride.
More of this! Would love to see you guys do some bike packing in the alps and other rad spots in Europe. đ€
