    Nice to have an arrival on 08R. Wind 080 at 14, gusts 30.

    In comparison with United - which serves just a yogurt and biscotti along with your choice of beverage on all their routes from Newark to Europe - the AirFrance breakfast looks like a feast. 😂
    0:10 But I’m surprised to see AirFrance-KLM written on the plane as the logo
    Are these 2 airlines merged into one? 😳
    I suppose it’s the same for Lufthansa/ Swiss/ Austrian
    I’m confused how exactly the merger works in such cases.

      That is just terrible for a trans Atlantic flight. Hopefully, there was a dinner service after takeoff.
      Great observation. Yes, Air France acquired KLM back in 2004 to create Air France-KLM Group. They are two different airlines though. But, you will still gain transferable rewards if you fly on either airline or on their airline partners. For example, Delta. I booked to fly Air France via the Delta app.

      They did not. I don’t recall seeing them in the economy lavatories too.

    you do realize you payed for economy.

      I understand. But, I was trying to compare the economy service on this particular sector. And compared to other airlines, the seat and meals were a bit lackluster on this flight.

    Thanks for sharing. I would be interested to know if it made up the lost time during the flight and if you were late arriving in CDG?

    • @TipsyFlyer
      @TipsyFlyer  Před 10 měsíci

      Thank you. Hope you liked it. Pardon my mistakes. The crew did make up for the lost time. We landed 4 minutes ahead of schedule.

    06:04 I am surprised AirFrance would serve Prosecco which is Italian, should have been Champagne

    • @TipsyFlyer
      @TipsyFlyer  Před 10 měsíci

      Great catch! Being used to Prosecco and sparkling wine on major US airlines, I must have accidentally slipped out the word “Prosecco”. We were served champagne for dinner in economy.
