- Welcome to another trip report! Today I’ll be trying out Air France Premium Economy on a flight from Paris, France to Fortaleza, Brazil. Our aircraft is an older airbus A330-200 and I’m curious to see if Air France Premium Economy is worth the price.

Great video. I always fly economy with AF and I was curious about the premium economy seat. I searched before about it and did not find any nice videos about it so this video was nice indeed. Depending on the price it might be worth for a long haul night flight.
Great trip report. Awesome footage of the take off, with another plane landing! I have never been in Premium Economy at AF, thought about it many times, though. I think I make the same conclusion as you, is it really worth it? Found some really good Business Class deals in the end of the pandemic on AF and KL, that I can absolutely recomend (if the price is right). I agree with you on the priority boarding, it’s ridiculous, I waited on a long queue with a toddler and had to wait for people who came after us to board first…I don’t like that system.
I'm 205 cm / 6.8 so quite curious about leg space with max _"reclining" on theses seats. Any comments?
Honestly, at that height I’d rather try to get a seat by the emergency exit. I’m suffering already with my 1.89cm 😩
I've only flown PE on JAL and Cathay. Cathay is mainly the bigger seat, and slightly better servcie over economy. JAL does better legroom, a couple of additional menu items over economy, champagne and shoju not offered in economy - plus lounge access! I'm tall too, but extra legroom nisn't worth twice the price

Lounge access is NOT included in premium economy with air france
21.30. Are the toilets common between the Eco. and PE Classes?
How was your legroom after the person in front of you reclined? If they didn’t recline, do you think they it would have compromised your leg room and comfort?
Those seats don't recline at all, instead the lower part of the seat moves to the front which is super uncomfortable. In fact AF started to phase out these seats but only their A350 and a few 777-300ER got the new seats (which are comfortable and actually do recline) so far.
How would we know if the 777 has the new premium economy seats? 😢
@@juicyeats8020 Those particular AF 777 have 48 seats in premium economy, unlike any other AF 777. But beware: After you booked there is no guarantee that there won't be an equipment change later on.
What about the recline of the seats?
Right before decent…your face said it all about that snack they served. 😂 - the disappointment in the offering in premium economy. Well that’s more than I can say in the big 3 airlines in America offer.
What about Champagne?

Hello there good trip report again. If you have not done this your last time with Air France dirty plane you should have sent feedback to Air France with the video. Its disgusting how filthy Air France let this unattended. If I was Air France should give you a free upgarde to Business or First and some compensation. Otherwise nice to see you have more subscribers. Have a great day. Hans
