@@jeremybentham9891 Lacks the intensity of the one that ended up on the album. Also, some of the lyrics are slightly different. No "Comin' up threes" in the final chorus, for example. Still excellent, though. The Pogues were great even on their worst day.

If I Should Fall from Grace with God Lyrics
If I should fall from grace with God
Where no doctor can relieve me
If I'm buried 'neath the sod
But the angels won't receive me
    Let me go, boys
    Let me go, boys
Let me go down in the mud
Where the rivers all run dry
    This land was always ours
Was the proud land of our fathers
It belongs to us and them
Not to any of the others
    Let them go, boys
    Let them go, boys
Let them go down in the mud
Where the rivers all run dry
    Bury me at sea
Where no murdered ghost can haunt me
If I rock upon the waves
No corpse shall lie upon me
    It's coming up three, boys
    Keeps coming up three, boys
Let them go down in the mud
Where the rivers all run dry

Hey guys.... I decided to subscribe as I like the range of material you choose to react to. Both Kirsty and Shane have passed but their duet on Shane's composition will live forever. Shane is an Irish songwriting icon. I Would love to hear your reaction to another Irish icon: Imelda May. She is an amazing songwriter, singer, arranger, and producer. Her original material ranges from Rock-a- Billy (Johnny got a boom boom) to torch ballads (black tears) and fantastic covers like Kermit's "it ain't easy being green", U2s "still haven't found what I am looking for", or Les Paul and Mary Ford's "how high the moon" with the late, great Jeff Beck. Fair winds and Happy New Year.

Keep the Irish music coming, you guys have really only scratched the surface of this genre. Y'all did traditional as well as Celtic Punk, now cross into ShamRock with bands like Gaelic Storm, try songs from them like "Darcey's Donkey" and "The Night I Punched Russel Crowe" to start.
Y'all are doing great with your reactions, keep it up!

I know The Pogues won't have mainstream appeal on your channel, but you should still check out more of their music. They're so good. And, if not, I'll still look forward to a yearly St. Paddy's day song.
