    Awesome job on your videos. I love you add the stats. These are tough trails. Keep riding and your skills and confidence level will grow.

    Was on Roller Flowster on Monday. I never make all those switch backs, need to work on my cardio LOL. Great ride and video and well done.

    In the climb at the 9 minute mark I was getting anxious pulling for you to make it.

      🤣 thanks I was tired already but I actually think that is not the hardest climb on the trail, some of the switchbacks are harder for me.

      @@WhatTheTrail I was hoping you would do it. I like your videos because they show the trails more without extra edits.

      @@WhatTheTrail where do you park im planning to go on sat

    • @WhatTheTrail
      @WhatTheTrail  Před 2 lety

      I don't usually park near this trail, but the closest parking is this one (bit.ly/3xYPj7N), just make sure you enter through Sunnybrook hospital, not through the east, as there is a gate that is usually closed on the east side of the parking lot.

    Amazing videos and I love the mini-map of the trails you got into your videos - very helpful!
    How do you manage to get that?

    I tried it for the first time this year and bailed. The downhill/uphill that you made look so easy - the one with the knotted rope that you can climb down with - freaked me out. I figured if I didn't make it up the other side, I'd be tumbling backwards. Was that tough to do the first time?

    • @WhatTheTrail
      @WhatTheTrail  Před 2 lety +1

      Hi! Do you mean the section around 3:15? I don’t recall the knotted rope 😅 if that is the section you are referring to, then yes it was hard to let go of the brakes the first time, that was the main piece that kept me from riding the trail at first. After I rode the first g-out in Trash Panda and the one in g-spot then I mentally prepared these ones.

    These are directional trails that are not loops I take it? Are there other trails that take you back?

    • @WhatTheTrail
      @WhatTheTrail  Před rokem

      Yeah, this trail is ridden in one direction, at the end you can take the road back to other areas of the Don. I would recommend checking out Trailforks to find other connecting trails

      @@WhatTheTrail ya I had a quick look at it but was looking for a place to start, not being familiar with the Don at all. All part of the adventure though. Thanks

    • @WhatTheTrail
      @WhatTheTrail  Před rokem +1

      You could start at the Leslie and Eglinton parking lot and do a loop from there. Are you looking for an easy loop or a hard loop? If easy/intermediate, you could try Boo, training loop, beaver flats, swamp, woods gundy, swamp.
      If hard, you could try swamp, woods gundy, secret hidden, asylum climb, g spot, roller flowster, road apples, screwdriver, trash panda.
