I watched a bunch of videos with different Darkglass pedals and now it seems to me that all pedals are quite versatile, so you can get a suitable tone for any. the point of this style of bass-tone is to fit well within a mix, the bass has barely any character in modern metal mixes as it's purpose to bind the mix together. more often than not, about 50% of what you percieve to be the guitar, is actually the bass. on it's own, metal bass often sounds pretty bad, but in a mixing context, it's absolutely perfect. there's a reason modern metal mixes are so coherent and full-range compared to older productions ;)

I have a dark glass pedal in my head.people think I am just being weird but I’m not. I speak in dark glass crunch, I see in dark glass distortion, and I hear in dark glass tube amplification.

Wunjo in London has this... I really wanted to demo it but the shop was pretty busy. I'll be getting the Neural DSP plugin version, and the physical when I can

Awesome bass player and tones! Watching the Darkglass.com website i I just assumed everyone in Finland only knows how to play with a pick! I pick about 30% of the time I wanted to hear other styles before I buy it I'm glad to hear this guy play pick finger and slap
