After only launching last year, 007GB Great British Fan Club has become the largest 007 fan club in the World. The Man With The Midas Touch, Phil Dewhurst, and his team struck gold last year with some unforgettable events. This is their first event of 2024, set in the spectacular Vault in Leadenhall, attended by Norman Wanstall, who won an Oscar for his work in Sound Editing on Goldfinger. I get the chance to chat to Norman about his work on all the Connery Bond films, and to Phil, Q The Music maestro, Warren Ringham, and fans.

Excellent! The enthusiasm from you both is infectious! I love anything to do with SFX and behind-the-scenes from Bond and his work with those sounds is just iconic. The way he worked in that era is the perfect mix of tech and art that I feel has been lost in this digital age.
