60 Years of James Bond Hats Exhibition at Lock & Co Hatters

I get a personal guided tour from Meg Simmonds, around the extraordinary exhibition of James Bond hats and props on loan from the EON Archive on display at Lock & Co Hatters- the oldest hat makers in the World, and there right at the beginning of 007's glittering franchise debut with Dr No. All 6 decades, and 6 actors who have taken on the role, are represented, with some hats and props that have never been displayed in public before available to enjoy.
A huge thanks to all the staff at Lock, especially Daisy Wenn, Rowan Allwright, Ben Dalrymple & Michael Hagon, for looking after us, and of course to Meg Simmonds, EOB Archive Director, who is always such fun to chat to. We were delayed in filming the PTS for my interview with Maryam D'Abo before Christmas, as I was struck down with the lurgy. Hoping to film it over. the next week or two!

Held off watching till Xmas Eve as there was a video that came out similar time last year and almost becoming a new Xmas Eve tradition! Another great video that I really enjoyed! Hope you and your family have a lovely Xmas and new year. Bit sad at the official celebrations for the 60th anniversary - but the fans and these kind of videos keep the love alive! 😊

Happy Christmas, Gary! It has been a bit quite than expected for the 60th. We have another video waiting to drop. We were due to film the PTS last week, but I've been off with the lurgy for the last week. Apologies for not having it ready in time for the holidays, but back with a vengeance in the New Year!

Hi Matthew, and a Happy New Year! It's actually from Gieves & Hawkes. I won it at an auction from Biddle & Webb, and the vendor had all the insignia and ribbons from Brosnan's jacket used in Tomorrow Never Dies included! I've had it for years, but so glad that it fitted! The Commanders's Cap is a little tight, but then I do have a huge cranium!
