Just wanted to say thanks for these videos. They are still helping people 9 years on.
Thanks! Thats the most helpfull video I could find on this topic!
Good demo on adjusting the cam chain timing, thanks much!
Excellent video and explanation. Thank you so much. Makes alot more sense for a beginner like myself.
22: didn't re-check the valve clearances, before replacing the valve cover !
Great video, I would love to see you check the chain adjuster play and and operation, that way you know if you need to replace the cam chain or the adjuster
brilliant videos. Very helpful
Thank you, I have found this very helpful.
Great video!!! Just pick up my second 1999 f650

Very good video
Great to see potential problems and issues. Shit happens, and at least I can see how the small issues were solved here. The chain tensioner here (single spark?) is A LOT easier to get to than on my G650GS (twin spark). I'm not going to touch it unless I have to...
Glad i watched this as the bolt is missing on the rocker cover on a dead 650, had it running its like a chimney on the bolt hole ,any advice apart from the obvious pressurising from the cylinder .
hello good video I have a f650gs and one month ago I went out of motion from there and could not start it turn on and off and I changed the gasoline pump the cv filter gasoline clean the injector I changed the filter
holly shit and I thought adjusting the valves on my KTM was hard. I think I will be paying BMW to adjust my valve on the Sertao. Thanks for the video, I like learning as much about my bikes as I can just in case I am in some far away place and have to do it myself. That was one scary valve job. I love riding but hate working on the bikes.
just watched more its prob the way its edited thanks for post anyway im doing mine today and i will use this
How do I install the auto decompressor on the exhaust cam? Does it matter how it sits in there?
