Alright man glad I saw this. I'm about to rent a Mark II and didn't want to keep it 2 days. So I came up with this great bad idea... to use tin shears and precut all my 7.125 in. strips ahead of time, then all I'd have to do is quick bend. Now I see the easy way folks cut strips! Uh, yeah... not gonna use tin shears now. Thanks! 😊

You're dressed like your area is getting so cold. I had no idea what you were talking about in your title so this was an entire learning experience for me. Thanks! I just love to learn new things and just from this video alone I feel confident should I ever need to replace that piece on my house I could do it myself.
Yea, I was tagged in the 40 question one too. I just did a 10 question one so hoping to be able to get another video out in between. If the weather holds I should be able to complete garden cleanup tomorrow. 🤞

Thanks brother. Like the comment about 'if you do this all the time, then I don't know what lm doing'. I know, people always criticize.

It seems simple. I’ve got some aluminum to replace around the garage and my pillars on the rear patio. I’ve never done it before, but looking forward to giving it a go.

Absolutely go for it. That is how I learn a lot of stuff by just doing it and figuring it out along the way. Lol!

@@TheHobbyFarmHomestead that’s it, I just watch a lot of CZcams to get the general idea, go out and get it done. I’ve done a lot of things to my house because of CZcams, where maybe I would have paid someone to come out and do it.

@@TheHobbyFarmHomestead just watched your video and I am definitely Harry homeowner.. I am tearing off my fascia board and putting up new ones think I should wrap the fascia board on the ground or do it once I nail it back up? And the real fun begins because I have two standard windows I have to try and wrap and I know that is multiple bends. They are roughly 32 in by 54 in.. by the way the young lady in the background looks pissed like you forgot a driving lesson or an anniversary lol

@@mrobvious1100 I would put your fascia up first then wrap it. Just take your time and use a small piece of scrap to practice your bends with measurements first. You will be just fine. Who knows what the heck she was mad about! Lol!

Very novice but helpful vid. The reason to over bend is because the middle of the brake wears out from more material used there. Nothing about the way it’s manufactured. I always do hems and always bend past 90. Its a tighter fit. Great vid tho!

I tried to keep it as easy as possible to understand! Lol! Thanks for the support!

If you hem both ends it helps keep those ripples out. And gives them more strength.

Should add an 8th inch for the bend.
