Shot in 2015 but just now released, a labor of fandom and passion that wouldn't have been possible without the help of my friends and family.

Just a casual reminder that, upon meeting Luke, Han, and Chewie, the Ewoks recognized them as intelligent beings and wanted to eat them anyway.

To add to this: Their *golden god* told them not to eat them and the Ewoks were going to eat them anyway. It was only when C-3PO started showing his divine wrath by flying around that they decided not to eat them. It took divine intervention to keep them from eating a group of people. Ewoks are scary.
y'all ever think about how both sides in star wars just rack up war crimes counts? like i'm not defending the space fascists or anything but the rebels don't exactly come out gold either.

The trooper took off his helmet and I just thought, "Oh, wow. He isn't a faceless dude under that helmet."
It would be cool to have a full on horror vibe Star Wars ala Battlefront - troopers hunted at night by hungry Ewoks. This felt like a part one to that story. Great video.
well actually in star wars battlefront 2 there is a horror mode where you play as either a stormtrooper trying to survive against ewoks while its night or you play as an ewok hunting stormtroopers. very spooky when you're a stormtrooper

As for the voice, I have a theory. Remember the landing platform and the AT-AT that picked up Luke Skywalker in Episode VI? I have a feeling that any and all Imperial survivors might have regrouped there to defend the position and to call for help from any nearby Imperial Star Destroyer. The voice might have been from one of the drivers of the AT-AT.

That was the same base they blew up, that was just the front of the base. The bunker they were fighting to get into was the rear entrance. That was the base they were blowing up.
i really love the idea of that AT-AT surviving!
I've thought about recreating that platform as an ultra-modern cabin above the woods; complete with helipad (Imperial Shuttle just off to the side), and full size AT-AT for storage and laundry.
Yes, infact all remaining imperial forces on the moon rallied near other landing platforms across the forest
Also The rebels and ewoks relentlessly hunted down any imperials trying to escape, the ewoks feasted on captured imperials
I enjoyed it! What I love about fan films is that folks experiment with ideas that big budget studios can't afford (ironically lol). This was a fun little short. Also gives us a new perspective on the fear that permeated through the ranks of abandoned or lost stormtroopers on Endor. At any minute, they might be an Imperial meal for a hungry little Ewok. Lol. I would love to see Lucasfilm's reaction to this. 😄👍

This was great and I’m glad you made it! I realize you probably couldn’t damage the rented costume but it would have been 1000 times more realistic if the troopers suit was damaged/dirty.
Thanks and Agreed! There was a HEFTY deposit for damage to the costume so unfortunately I couldn’t do much. After filming I did come across non-permanent methods to grit up the armor but if I had owned the costume I would have preferred to have a chunk taken out of the side from a thermal detonator and some sfx makeup to sell the injury a bit more.

This was possibly the best, most hilarious, Star Wars fan film I think I've ever seen. The Ewok with blood dropping out of its mouth killed me. Then it ate my body.

It was in his head. The voice often said 'here' instead of 'there'. Like the sentence 'stay here and die' should have been 'stay there and die'
Neil Haley what is weird though is how the voice knew the death stark blew up and that they ate the dead ... also the many hostiles.

Nice work mate. I was playing ewok hunt and decided to browse in CZcams, see if I could find a film or someone explaining the possibility of it happening and I stumbled upon your trailer and that got me here.
Glad you came across it! On Disney+ they reference the possibility on 'The Forces of Destiny' shorts with Han and Leia on Endor too.
Ever since i played Ewok hunt on BF II for the first time today, i can't stop seeing anything that relates to that horror of a game mode now. So god help me.

The ewoks were gonna cook luke, Han and Chewbacca and serve them as the main coarse in c3po's honour.... Makes me think differently about Dell's now lol. Great movie, liked the little moments of humour then the horror twist at the end. Great job!!!!

When I saw that Ewok eating that Stormtrooper, that’s when I realized that the Rebellion turned evil.
You can hate the stormtroopers for their actions but at the same time respect them for this battle, cause they were slaughtered hard

Some people like to think that ewoks are weak, but they're described as being mini wookies. Any stormtroopers left behind on endor would be wishing they had got shot dead 😨

Don't normally leave comments but I have to say this makes alot of sense, the ewoks wanted to eat Han and the others at frist before c3p0 stopped them
yeah, Romba managed to shrug of a hit from an AT-ST cannon (Nanta, not so much). I imagine the Ewok cry was a hunting party rally cry and the trooper only stopped firing after the Ewok slowly walked over and ripped his arm off.
