    Another thanks for your videos. Just ran a wire to the fuse box to power the trailer lights controller box. Not sure how many plastic panels I would have broken without your instructions. 👍

      Thanks. Great to know my videos help in such a project, however small :-)

    you haven't pushed out the purple plastic lock that protects the PINs / connectors from falling out, maybe that's why you didn't make it, your PINs/connectors are correct🙂

      That is it: remove all small fuses from the top of fuse box, then push purple plastic towards back of the car (it should move 1-2 mm, purple block seen at 0:52 and 5:59 will be no longer flush with rear facing side of fuse box) then you can push new wire into box, afterward move purple block forward and insert all previously removed fuses.

    Thank you my dear HatBoyHarvey , I really enjoyed this, still have a question, can I add a Crouse control to my Fabia ??

    • @HatBoyHarvey
      @HatBoyHarvey  Před 3 lety

      Thanks, glad you liked it. Cruise control is dependent on the type of central locking module, i believe and not all models have the right one. I haven't done it to mine yet, but when I get around to it I will be sure to post a video as a lot want this ;)

    My SDI (200.000 miles) has a lights switch problem, rear fog light permanently on unless i take the rear fog fuse out. But I'm more confused about speakers not working at all. As for virus recovery I can recomand vitamin B in the morning and a craft beer in the evening. Maybe also bee royal jelly after lunch, and some nice dried fruit tea twice a day. And if you can afford, a week in Istran peninsula in May.

      Thanks, The vacation sounds nice. The fog light - maybe lamps need checking for correct fitment and type - I had this, also brake light switch. Speakers is probably the wires going into door by hinge bellows that can become damaged. I will take the advise of royal jelly. Hvala, Grazie :-)

    Am I missing something, surely there was wiring going to an unused slot that you could have used and tapped off it with an mini fuse with protected circuit?

      See @ 0:56 all my none assigned fuse holders had no female connections and all other fuses are taken. This is how NOT to use a piggyback fuse.
