Trixxy Kicks to be fair they casted an Indian for the role of an Arab lol so you can’t blame him and expect it to be flawless. He tried his best, but if you have a middle eastern character you should cast a middle eastern actor , because India is not in the Middle East lol
Tarek A I agree with that, it’s not his fault, but the accent nonetheless wasn’t at all convincing for me. He talks with a string cockney London accent in interviews 😂 I’ve literally just finished watching Lost this evening!
Trixxy Kicks lmao you’re right 😂, and nice ! Very good show! Confusing weird ending that brings lots of debating but very good show nonetheless. Had jj abrams never left after the first few seasons the ending would of been better but he was busy and I believe was working on Star Trek. Which season was your fav? Mine was like the first 3
Dude, after seeing Wikipedia saying he's British, i had to look up interviews. very impressive that he pulled off a deeper and Iraqi accent! I thought he really was! I prefer the sayid accent for sure.
Even though the first three seasons of Lost were good and the last three seasons were not so much, Sayid was such a great character that I enjoyed him the entire way through. Naveen is a fantastic actor and does an incredible accent.
Okay so I‘m Austrian and as far as I have heard and divide it at school and stuff it’s American and British but ofc I understand the real division is different...I just know it as British, American, Australian
whaaaa? Accent and voice tone, both have nothing to do with what he sounded like in the series!!! This dude played amazingly well since he hide his accent that well!
what? is this dejavu? i've seen his interview in my dream.. i just learned the tv series lost just 2 weeks ago. just before i watch the tv series. so weird... 🤔
@CarmineEternity I know. It's quite an amzing talent, isn't it? If you've seen the gag rels, you can see that he doesn't keep it up between takes. it's extraordinary that he can jump back and forth so brilliantly.
@joannalucero Difficult to say friend. In England, "funny farm" can mean any place where you have received mental help or comfort. That can mean both mental illness, and/or addictions, which may of been what he meant. Hope that helps
As a time traveller, I could tell Naveen that he dies in a later season, is revived and gets killed again, but I've promised John Locke I would keep the secret.
After the writer's strike I believe that the original direction of Lost was literally lost. There's no way from the first season that they meant for it to wind up as it did. It was hard to follow the plot and then later everything was explained away with something having little to do with the first season, in my opinion.
Holy shit his accent in lost is so good that I feel like he is still acting
Tarek Attal yep his accent is so good that i myself thought he was an iraqi and im an iraqi
To be fair, his accent was terrible.

Sayid is not british, Naveen is british ;)

Damn, Naveen is a wonderful actor and seems like being a very nice chap.
Good on him for being so honest.
It amuses me when on rare occasions Sayid's accent slips ever so slightly and you can hear the Brit come through :)
He was on the Netflix show Sense8 and on that he used his own natural voice. He was great in that too.
what.the.fuck. he sounds like david cameron :o
It's great how honest he is! Amazing.
His parents are from Kerala ( India )... ❤❤❤👌👌 handsome boy

He does Sabal's voice from Far Cry 4. Love it :)

Just watching Lost and S01E07 at 07:10, his accent turned English 😂. It truly isn't easy staying in character 100% of the time
Sayid is my hero :D
Definitely one of the best characters on the show, fersure!
Wow. He's a good actor. He's so smooth and polished in real life, yet on the show he's this Iraqi ex-interrogator etc. Cool! Lol...

WHY WASNT I AWARE OF HIS ACCENT OMG
That`s a pretty classy suit.
I had no idea he was British. The show really made him look and sound Iraqi.
He never look like Iraqi, we are similar to European people in figure .
