Back in the 90s Indians were the invisible minority, you almost NEVER saw them on TV and when you did it was always in some stereotypical role as a cab driver or 7-11 owner. (Apu from the Simpsons) So it is rare to see a Western film from the 90s where Indians are the lead characters. This film has me curious, I want to see it now.

Being interviewed by nutter crowley, I'm not surprised Naveen was as he was. Used to run through and call into Southall a lot back 80s 90s from Shepherds Bush out to Hayes. Knew most of the best chippys (round the bush), patties (Harlesden and Willesden) and curries. Plenty of kebabs and great sandwich shops/delis along the Uxbridge Rd. No need to list religion. Just a great bunch of people.
