This whole video is just blatant passive aggressive COPPA energy and I’m so here for it XD
I love the tiny effect part peg on the bottom of the truck (around where the waist folds into place for the robot mode) just so you can replicate the booster jet he used to transform and jump into battle in the movie.

The inside of the chest has juuuuust enough of a nub to hold up a blast effect if you're so inclined and have one small enough (Firedrive's, for instance). It's no matrix, but it's kinda cool.

the hover truck mode makes more sense than Galaxy Force/Cybertron's Optimus' "winged fire truck jet mode".

Vangelus reviews feel like a throwback to the good old days
I finally experience the mold earlier this month, with the cartoon version. Really fun mold. Fantastic transformation. It's quite possibly the best classics style Optimus Prime we've gotten so far, at least in robot mode
My god, Vangelus has actually remembered the Transformers franchise is more than just a card game X'D

New Vangelus video, happy day! I never picked up SIEGE Optimus Prime. I like the look of him (and Earth Rise version too) but I'm hoping we get a weird color scheme of that mold. I don't want to pick it up just to do a video on it and then sell/give it away.
Still possibly my favorite Transformers figure of all time. It's just so damn good! I'd argue it holds up to that upcoming Prime as well by simply being better proportioned thanks to having a proper waist diaper thing (unlike Earthrise Prime that just makes the top of the legs have the design bits usually found on the diaper).
To battle optimus prime fatigue, I propose this novel idea: different trailers! When we get a trailer, it's usually about the same, give us something different to collect. They could release a bunch of trailers separately.

Also, I too had Optimus fatigue, but between this, the Studio Series, and the Amazing Yamaguchi. I've bought more Optimuses (Optimii?) this year than I've bought in my entire time collecting Transformers.

I got this figure when it first came out and i just recently discovered that you could flip the knee caps i love when you get to find new things about a figure after you own the thing for a long time it makes you look at the figure differently

Welcome back, V! I didn't realize it was Christmas already. Great review, surprised you didn't mention how small this figure is. I think even another half inch of height would solidy this figure as my favorite Voyager of the line instead of Thundercracker.
tbh I've stopped taking a lot of note of figure height - as long as I'm satisfied with the handfeel and noticeable complexity I'm good these days

The Studio Series Bumblebee film Prime was my choice for ideal G1 styled Op even if it's not perfect GEEWUN. He looks awesome.

I bought this and the anniversary paint scheme. It's been a good year for my Optimus shelf. Still need to get that big Cyberverse one.
Easily one of the best Primes out there imo. Of course, if you're not into the battle damage, you can get the cel-shaded version instead. Or, y'know, Earthrise Prime, who looks stunning (turned out they were going for the blue hands version this whole time)

Been wondering would Vangelus take look of WFC: Siege toys at some point though is Vangelus gonna review few Power of the Primes or later released Titans Return toys. Anyhoo, hope we get more Vangelus TF toy covering till end of 2019.

I love The Siege Optimus Prime. It's like a miniature Masterpiece; to be honest, I only wish that he were a bit taller and that backpack folded in a bit more evenly.
This guy was probably the floppiest toy I have gotten in a long time. Everything from the knees up was extremely loose, it couldnt even stand up and the arms couldnt hold a pose.
Im use to having to fix some joints on figures but jeez.

@TwistedGaming918 It's a bit more than that, Earthrise Prime has a retooled transformation scheme and reuses the window chest joints for a Matrix gimmick...
But yeah, I'd rather get a Roller Weaponizer with the Trailer for my Siege Prime than another Earthrise Prime...

Optimus Prime
Hey, this is a great review, though, after seeing Earthrise Optimus, eh, not a fan. Already had issues, though the Cartoon Animation released solved it for me, being that, its way more interesting than the traditional Optimus look. The action sequences in this review are lovely.

Too be fair, said Earthrise Prime isn't all that fresh, he outright reuses Siege's leg parts and the retooling to the upper body's transformation is less finicky but also results in a less aesthetic lower back/upper butt flap made out of the trunk bumper and front wheels...
Also can't wait for Vangelus to do Siege Megatron and the most adorable of the Weaponizers, BRUNT!

MP44, SS44, (I think SS38 actually came out last year), both versions of Voyager Siege Optimus AND that "Leader" Siege Optimus (the Galaxy Convoy/Cybertron Optimus rendition), at least one MP10 KO, and I think Golden Lagoon MP10...yeah, that's A Prime Problem for sure. And then there's Earthrise Optimus coming in the spring or so...I know that he & Bumblebee are big sellers, but daaamn...is it any wonder folks are gettin' worn out & exasperated!?
This (and the upcoming Earthrise) makes nice entries in an Optimus collection...but I'm still gonna have to go with that KuBianBao MP10V (Voyager sized MP10 KO) as my CHUG scale Optimus...even if it completely doesn't work with current scaling anymore. 🤷🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️
I want to pick one up but I think I'm going to wait a little longer for a Netflix version to come out.
Spoiler alert: that never happened unless you count Nemesis. I did, however, get the Earthrise Netflix version of Prime which looks great.

I feel kinda bad for Siege Optimus, because Earthrise looks just so much better with less kibble.
I like Siege OP's proportions and overall look much better than Earthrise, especially of the torso and crotch section.

If those effect part spots had holes do you think a classic Mini-Con would fit or are the pegs too wide? At any rate there have been better Cybertron mode Optimuses before, like the last War For Cybertron version. This just looks like an Earth truck with some extra bits popped on to it, like a brighter Mad Max. (Happy Max?)

Part of me would kind of like if his vehicle referenced the design seen in "The Flames of Boltax!" or that mental artillery/box thing seen in the first marvel comic, but they both might have lead to a worse figure. Great video as always!

I love the truck, but the Robot mode is to simple looking for me... frankly the Voyager Optimus figure from the Bumblebee movie is the simplest design that Optimus can have for me.... anything simplier and I'd be lying if i said i was a fan.
