No one warned me about what to avoid at University of California Irvine while I was in high school. The only recommendation I remember hearing was to pick the school that offered the most financial aid and that’s what I ended up doing. I hope this list better prepares you for what to avoid while attending UC Irvine. I would have made several changes to my diet while a student at UC Irvine had I known about the “Freshman 15." “The Freshman 15,” refers to the 15 pounds a student gains when entering college. There are two specific places I would like to mention.
