7:07 , I'm not sure about Arroyo Vista and Campus Village, but I lived in Middle Earth during my freshman year and they did provide you with hand soap from automatic hands-free soap dispensers in every bathroom. So, if you're going to live there, don't waste your money by buying handd soap. Doing so is unnecessary.

2 years late but are there any sheets/pillows (mattresses???) available on campus or in the dorms? cuz i'm an international student and i dont see myself being able to carry any of that 😭

They provide mattresses but a mattress topper is recommended, you’ll need pillows and sheets but can buy them from nearby stores no problem

I live there now. Yes it has wifi and its okay most of the time, but you have to use a mobile hotspot for like smart tvs and wireless printing

Are all first year beds an EXTRA LONG TWIN??? Looked like in some room tours some beds were Twin and some were FULL... So don't buy sheets before you get to campus? Or buy both sizes and then return the one you don't need?

Hi there! All Dorms in Mesa and Middle Earth communities for freshmen are indeed Twin XLs (all other UC campuses would be the same I'm pretty sure). If you saw some Full size beds in tours, they would be the on-campus apartments for 2nd-4th years (mainly 2nd years choose this option unless you get good aid) - this would be UCI communities like Arroyo Vista, VDC, VDC Norte, and Camino del Sol to name a few. These on-campus apartments have a mixture of floor plans where some offer full-size beds for ex, 4 bed 2 bath floor plans in VDC (Not all of these communities have full bed options)! Hope this helps :)
