Seeing Britannia 500 times still makes me smile, as the search continues and you keep finding those great coins and supplying us all with some great collector information!
I hope you managed to complete your own album as well, or otherwise find some upgrades! Very generous to give away all and am looking forward to the next!

Thanks Paul, I felt your enthusiasm dip as the first couple of '67s passed through your fingers but fortunately it picked up a bit later even though they continued to appear. Anyway it's cool to see Britannia still is a Metal Guru after all these years.

Great hunt! Nice to see Britannia again in all her glory. Made me think back to the pennies I had as a kid (still in an album somewhere) and which dates I might have to fill gaps on the board! The Prince Edward token was an interesting Cinderella! Had me hitting Dr. Google there as well. Cheers!

New to the channel, love seeing the old Britannia coins, I've got some 1966 coins from my birth year, but amazed at how long they were minted for before decimalisation took over.

Nice one! Always enjoy your videos. Oddly, I quite like 1967 Britannia, year I was born! At a guess I 'd think the dates on the Canadian tokens were the years they became provinces?

(Edit: I'm going to have to say Britannia because you've brought back some wonderful memories and I'd like to finish my collection!) Oh wow, this brings back memories. We went through bags and bags of these with my great grandad to find one from each year, the ones we didn't want got disposed, we didn't look for anything fancy like recessed ears or other details. I wish we could go through them all again!
Just thought I'd add I still have them all and all of the other coins I collected, I've just decided to start going through them after decades in storage.
The nostalgia is too strong I've gone and dug them out. Thank you for the memories.

Quite a fair result for 500 with loads of 1967's. It's really interesting to see how the figure of Britannia has remained on our coins from almost the start of British coin history to the present day. Also metal Guru's seems like a long time ago haha.

Fantastic Paul. An epic video, but not too long for the Metal Gurus 😉 My favourite Britannia out of all of these has to be the 1892 lighthouse as it was the year Newcastle United was formed. ⚽️ I’d love to own one of those, i think it would actually be the oldest coin my collection.

Another super video and definitely not too long. Perhaps Britannia will be persuaded to make a proper coinage comeback under Charles III (or should that be George VII after what he allegedly said in an interview in the Times many years ago?). Sadly, though, I can remember when Metal Guru was first released as a single in 1972 - 50 years ago!!
    Statistics (if anyone is interested!):
There were 522 'coins', including the tokens, Irish, halpennies etc. - Average coins found per year of reign when coins were minted:
    Victoria: 2.2; Edward VII: 6.3; George V: 6.5; George VI: 5.1; Elizabeth II: 19.1.
    Commonest years and percentages:
    Victoria: 1900 (15), 17.5%; Edward VII: 1907 (15), 11.4%; George V: 1919 (15), 28.5%; George VI: 1938 (11), 12.2%; Elizabeth II: 1967 (Unsurprisingly!) (76), 30.5%
