Matt Stafford and Megatron had a great connection for six seasons up until Calvin Johnson called it quits. I’m a Bears fan, and I will forever miss Megatron

Megatron put up that 300+ yards in 4 quarters. It took the WR from the Chargers in the 80's to have 4 quarters and OT. Calvin was a special player.

Say what you will about Calvin Johnson, he balled out, but that boy Matthew Stafford should go down as one of the most clutch QBs in NFL history. That final drive was the stuff of legend.
Still remember this like yesterday. Stafford is so clutch. Like when he came back in and threw the game winning TD to Pettigrew with a broken left collarbone. Tough as nails too.
He's tied with Joe Montana and Russel Wilson with 28 4th quarter or overtime comeback wins. (Edit; Russel Wilson has 28 regular season 4th quarter or overtime comeback wins and 4 playoff comeback wins, for a grand total of 32; which is around the same amount as Joe Montana.)

Lions fan here, and this is still one of my favorite games from Stafford, that last drive was the stuff of legends
Still remember this game so well. Will always remember this. Especially when Cowboy D coordinator Rob Ryan said if Calvin was on the team he'd be the number 3 wide receiver lol. Showed him. Miss watching him now Stafford with the tiny fractures in his back is not good. It's tough being a Lions fan sometimes but will never give up on them.

I remember Dez was talking the entire week leading up to this game saying that he was better than Megatron and Calvin tore the Cowboys to pieces with the most receiving yards in regulation in NFL history. I will say though, Dez wasn't in Megatron's league but he was legit back in the day
@Hec's Vids he's far from a future hall of famer, but I do get your point that Slay was a tougher matchup than Carr. Megatron wasn't covered by just one person though, he was being bracketed for a lot of that game.
This game is one example fans of other teams hate the Lions SO much. They say the Lions suck, yet we can beat anyone on any given day. That must be embarrassing to bad mouth a team so much and then lose to them.
I have never heard anyone except for nfc north fans say they hate the lions just sayin. Its hard for someone to hate a team that hasn't won anything so yeah they do suck...

This game means so much to me. As a kid I grew up the hugest lions fan. My dad took me to this game when I was 14 years old. The energy in this crowd was a indescribable feeling. We were cheering laughing and crying to the very end as one big unit. Lions fans are the best this was one of the best days of my life hands down.

What a game! I’ve never seen this before and towards the end when the Lions didn’t convert on 4th and 12 I thought the game was over. What an incredible final drive Stafford led.
Megatron>Dez Bryant. He showed Dez who the better receiver was. Had 329 in the game only a few yards shy of Chargers Flip Andersen's record which took him O.T. but still insane how talented Megatron was.
John Carter he didn’t go over 200 yards in the playoff game against the Cowboys. In that playoff game, he had only 85 yards receiving.

Reaching the ball over the goal line was right up there with the Dan Marino fake spike for savvy plays to win at the end.
One of the great rare wins in a big game for the Lions. Unfortunately for Lions fans the Cowboys got their "revenge" the next year in the playoff game in Dallas. The phantom flag pick up pass interference no call, the Dez Bryant running onto the field without a helmet no call and the Lions classic lack of being able to stop the opposing team on defense when it mattered most game. Probably the most frustrating game ever in a history of frustrating games for the Lions. There are so many. This was one of the rare great wins. Go Lions whenever they play again!!

Sean Lee, as a non cowboys nor NFC East fan, was one of those players a lot of teams over their history have had at least one of. A great player, not transcendent, but one who is clearly one of the better players in the league who often harms themselves trying to make up for the other 10. They try to make the play, every play. They just want to. Never going into the Hall, but a player I will absolutely remember from my generation. I appreciate the sacrifices he made for us viewers who loved the game.

one of my favorite games of All-time. Stafford is one of the greatest comeback QBs in NFL history. Megatron is the greatest WR in NFL history. The Cowboys are like the Yankees of the NFL. If you're not a Cowboys fan, you hate the Cowboys. Dez Bryant, one of the biggest crybabies and team cancers out there. This was one of the best Lions wins in a long time.

I caught the last few plays inside of Arrowhead. Me and my dad decided to go to Missouri and watch the undefeated Chiefs, but watching the last the Calving catch down to the one and the Stafford jump over the pile on our way out of Arrowhead as a Cowboys fan was heartbreaking

This game gave me so much rage afterwards because The Cowboys forced 4 turnovers and we still couldn’t beat them!!!!
Another thing that pisses me off is at the end of the game when they got the ball back late in the 4th quarter instead of being aggressive on first and second down with the pass they instead tried to run the clock out and gave the ball back to Stafford and company. It was the true epitome of the Garrett era which was bad game time decisions that cost too many games!!!!
One more than I’m done but why in the heck did they continue to let Carr one on one with Megatron knowing he was getting burned all game long. They didn’t triple team or nothing they just left him on an island with the man without a life jacket or a medicine kit.
