I mistakenly said that Charlie was sitting in the Spring family's kitchen in the second picture, but it's been brought to my attention that this is more likely a scene from when he's receiving inpatient treatment for his eating disorder. The sunny yellow threw me off, but I agree that that's most likely the case there. Thank you to the folks over on Patreon who pointed that out! ❤

Thom, have you been watching the video clips from the pride pop-ups? Probably too short to do dedicated videos for each of them, but could be fun to do one about all three, after the last one drops this weekend! :)
Headcannon: Oliver is the only one of the cousins that Tori likes. Also, he is the only one of them who treats Charlie like a normal person.

I mean, we know Tori dislikes most people, but Charlie is probably her favourite person on the planet. And if Oliver is anything like in the books, he looks up to Charlie and thinks he's super cool. And anyone who is genuinely nice to Charlie, Tori likes - even though I don't imagine she likes children in general. She probably finds them too loud and rambunctious.

I really want to comment on the picture of Charlie and Tori in Charlie’s bed. Alice at some point did say this winter will be in season 3 (I don’t know when or where) and I believe that that photo is actually them at the beginning of this winter where it’s morning of Christmas and they talk about their family coming.

Yeah the cabinets in the Spring kitchen are yellow. So I think you are right he is not at home.
My favourite photo is of Nick by the sea, it made me cry. Kit is an amazing actor and you can see all his emotions just by looking at his face. And the scenery around him tells the story as well. He's not on a sunny sand beach but on sharp rocks.
Anyhow I love all the photos and I can't wait.
It's the week of Joe Locke! Our kids are all having an awesome week of announcements. I am really happy that Alice found a way to include Oliver in the show, I know she's had reservations to make a kid actor suffer through the long filming times. I hope he's just as adorable and we find a way to include him in the awkward moments between him, Charlie, and Nick. (While i was typing this i had a thought) WHAT IF THE RELATIVES COME BEFORE THE BEACH SCENE SO WE STILL GET THE SCENE OF OLIVER ALMOST TELLING NICK THAT CHARLIE LOVES HIM!!! 😍🥰🤩 I need it so bad lol I cannot wait for the Shower "I Love You" scene and what follows! And I read your spoiler comment, I do agree it is probably there instead due to how...."clean" everything looks and the dishes look plasticy and "safe". Cant Wait.... :) And Manorca pictures!!! Im sad that Alice confirmed Olivia didn't record in those scenes so we won't get the amazing moment between Nick and Sarah (Love cant cure a mental illness but I wish it could 🥲) but I believe in Alice and Pat making a just as good replacement. And hopefully we'll get some more great moments with Tori and Charlie's relationship with the bed scene and knowing Michael has been cast. Gonna be fun crying with everyone over this season in October, it cannot come fast enough.
I'm afraid that Oliver is only coming for Christmas, because he's wearing a winter jacket.

I am SOOO excited for season 3 and Agatha All Along, so I need fall to hurry up and get here now! These stills are absolutely amazing and completely made my day ❤
The scavenger hunt was fun, but the hour we had to wait between finding the letters and putting in the password to see the stills was painful. Especially because the password was OLIVER so everyone was freaking out debating whether it meant anything or if Netflix was just cruelly playing with us 😂
I don’t think the giraffe photo is from the fete, their outfits are different, and Darcy’s hair is also longer, so I’m guessing it’s from earlier in the season. Maybe a Nick birthday outing, since we probably won’t get the intimate birthday celebration Stephane skips out on in the comic, with that storyline was wrapped up early in S2?
I love that Alice chose to feature Gender Queer, Maia Kobabe reposted it on eir Instagram too. ❤ I wonder if this is a scene where Isaac confides in Charlie about his sexuality. Maia is also ace!
Alice said on tumblr that the lemur has a cute backstory, so I think zoo souvenir is a good bet.
Cousin Oliver cameo was a nice solution to issue of age continuity across seasons, which wouldn’t have been possible with such a young actor.
The still of Charlie and Tori was my favorite. ❤
I love all you said and agree 100%! I thik the Zoo is part of Nick's birthday (henve the lemur and Darcy's hair). Good point about hopefully ditching the Stephane + birthday plot 🤞

It’s interesting that we’re covering a lot more time in season three than we have in seasons one and two put together. At the start of season three Nick and Charlie have only been dating for 3-4 months at this point, but by the end of the season, it’s the end of year 11 for Charlie and the end of year 12 for Nick. We’ll see if an entire school year start and end in season 3.
By the way, the first time I saw the Darcy and Tara photo I was like “why is Darcy choking Tara?!” 😂😂
In the scene at the beach Charlie wears a sweater I really like, plus I just made a reservation for Gender Queer at my local library so, yes: that photo is my favourite !

And the stuffed animal on Charlie’s bed is thought to be a gift from Nick from the zoo.
Alice has said Oliver will appear at Christmas time only.
I'm actually looking forward to Darcy's storyline because judging by the previously published photos and video from the summer fete there will be some interesting changes. 🙂 As for Isaac and Charlie's bonding I wonder if they'll discuss Isaac's sexuality in some way (you once mentioned you'd write a fanfic about the follow-up from the moment he stormed away when the Paris Squad "mocked" him about kissing James and I still hope to read it one day 😁). But the one thing I can't wait to see is the I love you scene as it's one of my favorite moments from the entire comic.

Those stills are giving me life! 😍🥰🤩❤💜💛💙 And at the same time sucking it out of me (the hospital scene and the Menorca scene). This season is going to rip our poor hearts to shreds and kill us dead, in the best way ☺️😊🙃. I love that they gave us stills involving all of the characters (I understand that there was no way for them to give us something more on Sahar and Imogen, that wasn't either disappointingly neutral or too spoilery 😅). Thank you Thom for your excellent as ever reaction and thank you for reaching into the future to compare with comics 🤗
I loved the stills! My favourite is the group photo with the giraffe.
I think the photo of Charlie and Tori in bed is of them venting about Jane’s extended family, probably around when they appear in the events of This Winter. If it’s not before, on Christmas morning, as mentioned in a different comment, I am guessing it is after. Alternatively, this could be a venting session with Tori about Jane losing her temper at Charlie for ducking out of dinner with his paternal grandparents to call Nick in Menorca. In the comics she doesn’t know he does it, so he doesn’t get in trouble, but the show might dial up the mother-son conflict when depicting this moment in order to clearly underscore Charlie’s fear about telling his parents about his mental health struggles. Given the stuffed lemur pictured in the corner and its probable connection to the zoo trip, I’m putting that down as unlikely and doubling down on this being about Jane’s family and their clueless insensitivity at the holiday dinner.
I was able to do the scavenger hunt thing! It was a fun 2.5 minutes. 😅 We then had to wait a whole hour for the payoff, though.
The first picture with Nick and Charlie is 🥹. When I showed it to my friend, he said it looked like two boxers having a staredown. Hum, since when do boxers look at each other like that? 😅
I'm not thrilled about the fact that they're going to the zoo. I hope it's not a huge plot point or anything (it shouldn't be, as it's not in the comics). It should be a good occasion for more cute montages over music (I can't get enough of those). But that photo with the whole gang is absolutely heartwarming and adorable. 🥹
My other faves are Charlie + Isaac and Charlie + Tori. The other ones are just too sad. 😢

I did! I especially liked how most of it was just Katherine saying (in various ways), "Joe is great. Isn't Joe great??" And yes, he is, Katherine. Yes, he is. ❤

I need more. we probably wont get the teaser trailer till early September, late August and the official trailer till late September about one month and one week from season three like how it was dropped for seasons 1 and 2,
Season 3 is released on 3 October, so maybe we will get a teaser trailer early August, then something more substantial until late August/early September?
I must say, after reading volume 4, I am a bit scared for how sad season 3 could be 😭😢
Yeah, I'm sure we're going to get our hearts broken a few times in season 3 - but hopefully the resolution will be worth it! ❤
