  • In order to understand the way we work today, we need to go back to what is happening in business.
Once we grew out of the Industrial Revolution -people on a line producing things- and moved into the age of information, we also moved away from a more command and control leadership style.
And now the idea is that we are all working wherever we are working -from home, on our mobile devices- and we have to get full engagement from people.
So leadership is not just about a title, but about finding the leader in everyone, and all of us collaboratively bringing our very best to the workplace.
People have to be accountable, responsible on their own, and self-motivated in order to really achieve the goals and objectives of the companies today.
And that's a big challenge for leaders because, in many ways, when you use fear, you actually don't have to be skilled.
But the problem with that is that it's not working anymore.
So, you really have to gain the skills of true leadership in order to motivate and attain a corporate culture that can reach the goals of the organization.
