Amazing how a video on youtube is the only way to get a way forward on iCue issues. Corsair haven't yet responded to my ticket i raised. I downgraded to iCue 4 and now it "works" again. Thanks for this Chris! Ringo

Im going through this now, Ive regedit, deleted app data and tried v4 with no luck.

How to perform a clean install of iCUE:
Open your computer's Control Panel.
Open the Programs and Features options.
Select CORSAIR iCUE 4 Software in the list, and then select Uninstall.
Press Windows Key + R to open the Run command.
Type %appdata%, then click OK.
Delete any Corsair folders in the window that pops up.
Re-open the Run command and type %localappdata%.
Delete any Corsair folders that appear.
Open File Explorer and navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\ for iCUE 3, or C:\Program Files\ for iCUE 4 or 5.
Delete any Corsair files in that folder.
Press Windows Key + R to open the Run command.
Type %programdata% in the Run Window, then click OK.
Delete any Corsair folders in the window that pops up.
Press Windows Key + R again to open a new Run command.
Type Regedit in the Run Window, then click OK.
Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\ and delete the entire Corsair folder.
Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ and delete the entire Corsair folder.
Restart your computer.
None of those fixes apply to me... Icue is THE WORST program EVER! My issue is, icue does not work. My fans and pump both go dark when I cue is running, so my only fix is hardware settings, these are the only settings that work. Icue is utter utter bollocks.
Yeah .. I bought the H100 x elite and it does not show up in icue. .
When I start my pc the aio is just white, when I start icue the lights turn off.
How did you fix?? My cooler does not show up and when I try to plug up to argb its barely even dim. Nothings I’ve tried have worked if not I will have to take it back and get a different cooler
i have this really annoying bug with my virtuosos where the EQ stops working, and sometimes itll be connected but it wont show up in icue

I had the problem where iCue wouldn’t recognize my ram sticks and it’s been going on for weeks. It was really annoying me being everything was in sync but my ram sticks. I found your video, did the modify app in the settings, restarted my pc, solved my problem!! Thanks man you earned another sub!!!
i got the HS65 headset from corsair and it doesnt show up on my icue i was hoping it would so i can change settings on it like my mouse is this supposed to not show up does it not have options for that?

Hello, i am using an Strafe RGB and with iCue v5 i had alot of issues with it, first of all, he wasn't showed in iCue and i did not have any of my old macro working anymore and all the light was gone too.
So i just tried almost everything before just trying to put the v4 instead of v5 of iCue and Tadaaam, everything is working again.
Quick resume, it seems that on my Aorus B550 Elite V2 and a Corsair Strafe RGB, iCue v5 just doesn't work at all, stay on v4. ;)
When I go to firmware updates theres 0 devices listed...not my corsair memory, capellix or the commander pro, i just did a fresh install whic was a chore in itself

s there a function to turn off the memory backlight when you go into sleep mode? Aura turns off the entire motherboard except the memory?
Go to ur ram in ciue and go to hardware lighting and delete the lighting layer
Updated to ICUE 5.7.106 and now ICUE is broken and screwed my PC. ICUE loads slowly. Even when loads some menus/sensors are randomly missing. Randomly just freezes and stops responding. Definitely freezes/stops responding if HW monitor is open at the same time. RGB is just all over the place on some fans. Worst of all the system is running ridiculously hot!!!That is just for starters. It is a mess. I tried repairing but to no avail.
Uninstalled 5.7.106 and re-installed 4.33.138 and everything is back to normal. Bottom line 5.7.106 is junk!
A clear video on how to uninstall and roll back to a previous version for others is essential.

If I seemed harsh I apologise. I had similar issues going from ICUE 3 to ICUE 4 many moons ago but to Corsairs credit they sorted ICUE 4 out and I am sure they will get ICUE 5 right....eventually. Nice channel.@@ChrisMizo

I just updated from their old utility software thought it might be time after all these years cause my mouse didn’t want to update now it won’t open at all
my fans wont appear so i can't add profiles to them what is wrong with Icue and there updates
it feels like they are going back instead of forward every time and update gets release is so weird.
For some reason the RBG from my Corsair dominator ram keeps freezing when I play games. I’m currently using rainbow rain but it freezes every couple of seconds. I uninstalled iCUE and redownloaded iCUE and the still have the same issues problem.
Check the firmware within the ram

Check your region in control panel,most likely downloaded Corsair out of region.

Yeah my ram keyboard and one of the cores isn’t detected any susggestions. And it’s all seated properly. I was just fixing my hardware lighting setting than everything got jumbled up. Only 2 of my icue items appear. I don’t know what to do or make them discoverable. I’m just gonna try unplugging and plugging the keyboard back in like this video suggested but I doubt that’ll work.
Usually it’ll be driver related, most of the time that will work also don’t forget to check the latest firmware as that will affect your keyboard’s recognition.
A new issue popped up for me when plugging the usb2 9 port to the motherboard. Now my elite LCD is not showing up in the iCUE app, but now its showing an update is available for the elite LCD (v2.0.0.3). However, once I start the update- im immediately stuck on a screen that says “Device settings- Multipoint status:“ im not sure if it’s actually updating at all bc nothing has happened for hours now.
Can someone please extend a helping hand? Any solutions for this?

Great video. This is the third time I've had issues with this janky program. I've always loved Corsair internal products but my next build will not have any Corsair products just due to the fact this billion dollar company can't even give us a proper program and installs that works properly after we spend hundreds of dollars for their products. My issue with Icue version 5 is it will not detect my
"MSI MPG X570 Gaming Wi-Fi Edge" motherboard. Also, since upgrading to Icue 5 I can no longer set my Corsair fans to my 6950 XT GPU hotspot temperature. Before I updated it to
ICue 5 I had some of my fans set to the GPU hotspot temperature. I have followed several tutorials on how to fix this but nothing has worked. What I'm about to do now is going into the MSI website and download the RGB update from a year or two ago. It does say to unplug all RGB lighting from motherboard while doing the update. We'll see if it works. Thank you for your video.
Let me know if this works 💪 sometimes iCUE can “forget” or select the wrong fans connected, the remedy for a situation like this is that go to the commander core, settings and select what you have connected to your port and select the correct fan.

Sounds corrupted, I’d remove Corsair from the registry and do a complete clean install.
I’m not able to install iCUE 5 even with the command prompt. It just says “this installation package could not be opened. Verify that the package exists and that you can access it, or contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid windows installer package”

The program is stuck on my files and won’t delete, I’ll delete it from files but will remain in my program files and won’t be accessible nor can you delete it, then when I try downloading it, it asks to repair the app, when I do click repair the whole thing closes and backs out, garbage software

Clear out any temp files you have and reinstall, Corsair is more than likely using the old cache and files.
I am having so many issues with icue. Wont read my button changes. Doesnt even work on default buttons from keyboard. Its just getting worse. Already made up my mind on going back to Razer and buying the Naga again.

Reset iCUE, check for firmware updates on ram as it is a common occurance, if you are on Intel it could be SPD_Write in Bios causing the issue.

I can get my k63 keyboard to connect but the harpoon mouse will not. Ive tried both slipstream dongles both together and separately and it wont work. Now I cant get my Bluetooth to connect with the mouse too.
You’ve tried pairing the slipstream dongle in options? If so, clear out your hardware in Bluetooth and devices and attempt to do the reinstall of hardware.

I tried to install icue 5 but it always got stuck on the part where it ask you if you can share data with corsair. when I press NEXT nothing happens. I tried to reinstall windows but that didn't help. I tried it through the CMD but that didn't work too. I tried everything.
Uninstall iCUE first
try to delete your corsair folders in Program Files then:
Press Windows + R
Type Regedit and hit okay
Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\ and delete the entire Corsair folder.
reboot PC and retry to install iCUE
shouldn't have to be this hard to install Corsair iCue smh.
@@ChrisMizo It still doesn't work even when I deleted it. When I get to the second part when it ask you share with corsair it wouldn't let me press next. I press it multiple times but it doesn't do anything. I have the new icue link cooler and I need icue 5 for it to work or can it work on icue 4?

idk if anyone can help me? I'm having an annoying issue and looking through forums I can never find anything that is similar or any solution, tried updating, done the end task and end services and retrying but it continues. Everything runs fine to start with, all detected and working as it should, but the moment I play a game the RGB will freeze / turn off and I keep getting a bleeping notification sound, when I open iCUE I then notice that the detection of my h100i elite capellix pump is very intermittent, it pops up then disappears and this is what's causing the RGB to freeze / turn off however the functionality is fine, its just a constant bleeping with no pattern and its annoying / frustrating to see what looks like my computer having a seizure, is anyone having a similar issue or know of a fix or can help?
Is your H100i looking like a wild rave? That’s usually from a corrupted iCue install, you’ll have to do a fresh install and should resolve your issue.

My mk2 will plug in but will not detect I've tried everything I think the update ferried my board tried every button sequence for over models including mine to load bios won't it'll beef and acknowledge its a USB just drivers will not won't even turn on rgb I think she's done
Have you tried entering bios mode with your keyboard? You can reset your MK2 to factory settings .

My ram lights up, icue doesnt detect it. i can see the ram being detected by the computer .
Corrupted iCue, would need to do a clean reinstall . If you have a Intel build, make sure spd is set to off.

Icue wanted me to Update... Corsair Commander Pro and Six SIMPLE Corsair Lighted-Fans worked fine until update now they are BLACK ??? I've spent HOURS &^^%%^$^%$-ing around and can't get them to light up NOTHING ??? and ALL I did was Update July 10 2024 5.16.75..... Even reinstalled from Corsair site

Headset was working fine the next day it refuses t connect to the usb no idea what to do this video doesn’t seem to fix it
You may need to reset your headset, more than likely there's an issue with the current Bluetooth connection.

@87MockingOwl with intel, sometimes in the bios you'll need to disable the spd_write. Look this up in your bios and if it is enabled, disable it and your ram should reappear.

This company has the worst software out there. It needs very exact setups software and hardware wise to work. This is horrible. Im glad I didnt go all in with these products. Returning them..
I can't even uninstall the god damn program from my PC.
iCUE : has a setting to download and install and Asus "plug-in" in-program.
Also iCUE: You need to install Asus cancer-ware for me to play with your Asus mobo!

At least with JUST Aura as opposed to the entire Armory Crate, I'm not experiencing the constant hiccups, and outside of this one thing, iCUE hasn't been a problem for me.
Maybe it's a work in progress? Their little demo vid definitely doesn't even mention it.

I cant even remove que from my pc it does show up in my apps but in GREY, so i cant modify or uninstall it... Tried everything from removing those h.keys but after restarting my sound has been removed. So i had to go back into yesterday to redo everything, only option for me is to reinstall Windows... Ique sucks

@@wick6315 to be honest my pc never crashed nor over-heat.... well the thing for me was that my light was rainbow effect so i look into my bar and didnt see that ique icon.... so i look for the app in the START menu didnt even show so i thought i go to SETTINGS and there it was but in 'grey' so i cant uninstall or modify... i tried that REVO uninstall tool but i kept removing the SOUND-HKEYS things so i didnt had any sound at all. so i had to do that back-up thing so you can go back a few hours and everything was normal again but with the same BS.... so i cant re install or repair it nothing. the only option left is redo windows wich isnt a big issue, but my pc is running normale despite the ique is still on pc but doenst do anything basicly so im kinda lucky if say so my temps are good no shutdowns
i sent them a mad mail and im not buying stuff from them anymore just to big to handle for just only there software that kills your pc
