    Imagine carrying that cross country! $1500+ in fuel is the story of my life! LOL
    And yes! Freight does pay more. I like hauling freight, but I love hauling cars! And with your style of trailer, I'll get the best of both worlds! Stay moving! Stay safe!

    • @HotshotAdventures
      @HotshotAdventures  Před 4 lety

      Dave you can start with any type of equipment - short bed or otherwise. Start with what you have, see if you like this type of work, and go from there if you want to purchase a new or different truck. There is no age range.

    So Im confused.. you like freight better, but you haul more cars? Anyways, you just prove 1 thing.. freight ppl haul cars so they can pay for fuel or as you did - hauling cars to pass those slow freight days! Good luck!

      Hi Marc!
      I don't haul any load, whether car or freight, to pay for fuel. I would think my revenue and run videos show that quiet clearly.
      I enjoy the flexibility of the type of trailer I own, I enjoy having tarps and straps and chains and binders, as I feel it makes me versatile and flexible, able to assist my customers, with a multitude of transportation options.
      Are you strictly a car hauler? Why type of money are you seeing over what type of miles and days to get to that number?

      @@HotshotAdventures Im strictly car hauling. 5 car mini, I pull it with my semi. 13 yrs OTR(before the mini5) with my dry van(hazmat mostly). Live in the Tampa Bay area and doing runs between Atlanta and back. Average 3k-4k gross for bout 3-4 days work.
