RandstadRail - Where Metro and Trams share tracks! 🇳🇱 RET & HTM | 2023

RandstadRail is a light rail system in Rotterdam-The Hague metropolitan region. Rotterdam Metro line E and The Hague tram routes 3, 4, 34 are litterally running on the same tracks. As the rolling stock is different and the floor height of metro trains and trams is different as well, there are separated passenger platforms established at each of the RandstadRail station. RandstadRail Metro trains are represented by Bombardier SG3 and HSG3 type trains that are operated by RET (Rotterdamse Elektrische Tram). RandstadRail trams are represented by the Alstom Citadis Regio type trams that are operated by HTM (Haagsche Tramweg Maatschappij)
