The Muffinprincesa In his second phase yeah it's pretty easy to leanr the patterns but the problem is the first phase when you can't lock on since you can not ever see him and have to decypher which attacks he'll do and how to dodge and it can be really frustrating to get a try ruined like that :/
Voxl _ he only has a small attack pattern. Especially first phase. Walk right pan your camera left and you'll see everything. When he is close the wyver head easily shows when he is going to attack so just roll. Plus you can stagger and reposte the dragon. He isn't that hard to fight locked off or locked on as long as you don't get greedy
Honestly, I'm happy this glitch got patched. They should make it part of the Mound-Makers covenant though: the host summons you and you can go fight the boss with him but you can still attack him, and you get the reward if you either kill the boss or the player.
That would go really wrong as players who farm the covenant will simply do a one shot build like fighter did, so what is more rewarding. 5 min bossfight for shackle and emb? Or 2 seconds kill

It might not be that they need the other player, but enjoy playing with others. I've killed every boss solo at least once, but there is something insanely satisfying and fun about taking a boss head on with another player, especially if you summon 2 or more, as the boss gets ridiculously beefed up to match that. Fight Sister Friede with 3 phantoms on NG+ 7 and tell me it isn't a thrill.
I've had people backstab and kill me while soloing Aldrich, the Nameless King, and the Lord of Cider while on new game+3. And everytime they either clap or point down afterwords. Why couldn't you invade me during the Deacons of the Deep and make that boss fun and a challenge? I'm someone that likes to be invaded. I'm someone that won't heal unless the invader heals. I also love to invade. I love the chaos and the mind games involved with invading, especially because you are typically out numbered. The game is not meant to be easy for invaders, though. It is meant to be a challenge that you earn those covenant items. Really earn them, whether you farm them from a rare item drop or earn them from invasions. It is balanced in favor of the host always. Because there is no Looking Glass Knight in Dark Souls 3, it means that every boss in the game was balanced for PvE, not PvP. And invading during Aldrich, the Nameless King, and the Lord of Cider are all dick moves. With that said, like I implied above, even though every boss was balanced for PvE, not PvP, I wouldn't mind an invasion or two during the Deacons of the Deep, especially during new game+.

Actually taking it further still, have it be a covenant where you activate it inside boss rooms that you've beaten and you fight people who have their covenant sign on in the same boss room. Like a FFA with an immortal boss.

Yeah boss room invasions are kinda on the edge of allowed. Since people try so hard to get a boss down it's best to only do this with reasonable bosses like greatwood. Killing them during a nameless king run is very evil. Those people might have been spending hours for the good run
I was there at the time. Actually more game breaking glitches were active back then (like tumblebuffing weapons, basically buffing infused/boss weapons by storing the action reaching brutal AR, or dartcasting which was firing long, charges spells with the farron dart animation, basically instantly). As I saw, a lot of people who used these glitches knew very well it'll get patched in like 2-3 weeks so we kinda just enjoyed the mess while it lasted. It's not the same as what glitchers started doing after live service ended, that was some full-blown toxicity.
I only had this happen to me once while fighting the Nameless King. Was scared when the purple just went into the bossrom. Immediately disconnected because I thought he was hacking.

It's funny how this game has such an absurd number of glitches. I've ran into 4 people doing this glitch in a single day. Little do people realize the host has absolute power over all phantoms and the glitched phantom. I just simply black crystal them out of my world. And before entering a boss fight. Check what phantoms you have with you if any via black crystal. If there's a glitched invader you'll see them. People are not too smart lol.
I like the variety of weapons that you used in that video. it makes it a little more entertaining but I don't blame you for keep your build with Yhorm's Machette because it is pretty good :) also I am always mind blow when you hide in plane sight and that people don't see you. I know that there might be some times that you don't show where they do see you but the clips you show when it works is just amazing. Anyways! I just wanted to say that you did a great job on that video by using different weapons :D

The Rez except when you have 4 phantoms it isn't fun anymore. You can stagger every single enemy in the game by all of you spamming R1. It's not like bosses actually get harder. They just get more health which isn't even proportional to amount of players. Like it's so much fun when the boss can't figure out who to hit and keeps switching targets or only focuses one person while all the other players just spam R1 for 30 seconds and the boss died. Bosses were designed for no phantoms or 1 phantom top. Anything else trivializes fights. Also people are summoning on Gundyr when only one person can actually hit the boss since you SHOULD just parry him.

Honestly, this is what the mound makers covenant should have been. You invade as a mad spirit able to attack anything and everything in the world. Being able to enter the boss room would give a completely useless covenant some use as hosts wouldn't be able to run away into the fog anymore.
Nice one man, my mates and I were invaded in the Nameless King fight. Killed the wyvern got Nameless down half way then got back stabbed 1 hit. Was not really impressed but it's not something you see everyday so it made us all laugh in a wtf way.

"You have been invaded by a dark spirit Spanish inquisition" (because nobody expects it) If you get this message in DS2, you're gonna have some hard time. You try to run back to bonfire to summon some help! But oh dear, you cannot summon while your world is being invaded! So if you cannot beat the invader, it's time to accept your fate and try again. this time you're gonna do better. Who knows, maybe you don't get invaded this time around. At least you're getting better after every death. If you get this message in DS3, you're gonna run back to the nearest bonfire (thats usually few meters away) and summon at least 1 phantom to help you out. (repeat summoning process if necessary until the dark spirit dies) All of this was made like this so you don't have to deal with the emotion of losing. Still, if you somehow manage to fuck things up so badly that you're going to lose, quickly press alt + f4 or pull the plug to prevent the horrible mental damage of losing. One simple fix to make DS3 a lot better : prevent summoning while world is being invaded. Never forget those golden days in DS2 when invaders made you feel fear.

A lot of the playerbase will put their controllers down on this game because of this, then again, if they can't handle getting "trolled" then ds3 is better without them.
I Parry U They never intended all those fancy pvp tricks in dark souls 1 but that's the main reason people enjoy ds1 pvp the most.
They should make a covenant that allows you to invade into boss battles, as long as host of embers summons someone to help him/her in this battle. That would be a lot more fun than simply more hp for boss.

Yeah boss room invasions are kinda on the edge of allowed. Since people try so hard to get a boss down it's best to only do this with reasonable bosses like greatwood. Killing them during a nameless king run is very evil. Those people might have been spending hours for the good run
I was there at the time. Actually more game breaking glitches were active back then (like tumblebuffing weapons, basically buffing infused/boss weapons by storing the action reaching brutal AR, or dartcasting which was firing long, charges spells with the farron dart animation, basically instantly). As I saw, a lot of people who used these glitches knew very well it'll get patched in like 2-3 weeks so we kinda just enjoyed the mess while it lasted. It's not the same as what glitchers started doing after live service ended, that was some full-blown toxicity.

I only had this happen to me once while fighting the Nameless King. Was scared when the purple just went into the bossrom. Immediately disconnected because I thought he was hacking.

It's funny how this game has such an absurd number of glitches.
I've ran into 4 people doing this glitch in a single day. Little do people realize the host has absolute power over all phantoms and the glitched phantom. I just simply black crystal them out of my world. And before entering a boss fight. Check what phantoms you have with you if any via black crystal. If there's a glitched invader you'll see them.

I like the variety of weapons that you used in that video. it makes it a little more entertaining but I don't blame you for keep your build with Yhorm's Machette because it is pretty good :) also I am always mind blow when you hide in plane sight and that people don't see you. I know that there might be some times that you don't show where they do see you but the clips you show when it works is just amazing.

It's sad bro, I understand doing Co-op with a friend for some fun, but if you can't beat these bosses on your own and NEED to summon, it's just sad. The majority of these new players can't play without a summon.

This seems a tad mean... :D On a side note, why the hell are so many people summoning a horde of phantoms? Co-oping with a friend is a fun way to traverse Lothric, but why why WHY! Why do you need a small army to fight a single boss!?! It seems like some people just need a firm lesson in gitting gud, courtesy of everyone's new favourite troll. I'm glad this was a one time thing though. Trying to solo Manus from DS1 on a high NG+ cycle and getting invaded would be balls.

The Rez except when you have 4 phantoms it isn't fun anymore. You can stagger every single enemy in the game by all of you spamming R1. It's not like bosses actually get harder. They just get more health which isn't even proportional to amount of players. Like it's so much fun when the boss can't figure out who to hit and keeps switching targets or only focuses one person while all the other players just spam R1 for 30 seconds and the boss died. Bosses were designed for no phantoms or 1 phantom top. Anything else trivializes fights.
Also people are summoning on Gundyr when only one person can actually hit the boss since you SHOULD just parry him.

Honestly, this is what the mound makers covenant should have been. You invade as a mad spirit able to attack anything and everything in the world. Being able to enter the boss room would give a completely useless covenant some use as hosts wouldn't be able to run away into the fog anymore.

Nice one man, my mates and I were invaded in the Nameless King fight. Killed the wyvern got Nameless down half way then got back stabbed 1 hit. Was not really impressed but it's not something you see everyday so it made us all laugh in a wtf way.

Personally, I say ignore all the haters and complainers in the comments, Fighter. As an invader, it's your job to kill the host of a world through any means necessary. If that means invading during a boss fight, so be it. Besides, these people know that DS is supposed to be hard. If they can't handle dying a little bit, regardless of the reason, they should never have picked the game up to begin with.

If you get this message in DS2, you're gonna have some hard time. You try to run back to bonfire to summon some help! But oh dear, you cannot summon while your world is being invaded! So if you cannot beat the invader, it's time to accept your fate and try again. this time you're gonna do better. Who knows, maybe you don't get invaded this time around. At least you're getting better after every death.
If you get this message in DS3, you're gonna run back to the nearest bonfire (thats usually few meters away) and summon at least 1 phantom to help you out. (repeat summoning process if necessary until the dark spirit dies) All of this was made like this so you don't have to deal with the emotion of losing. Still, if you somehow manage to fuck things up so badly that you're going to lose, quickly press alt + f4 or pull the plug to prevent the horrible mental damage of losing.
One simple fix to make DS3 a lot better : prevent summoning while world is being invaded.
Never forget those golden days in DS2 when invaders made you feel fear.
