These videos are absolutely hilarious but at the same time the most frustrating videos I've ever watched and i love it. How the hell does no one think "hey that anorexic half size hollow holding a dlc weapon and in the block animation of a torch that is also not even hollowed is probably the host"

Wow, somebody actually knows who Albel is. I'm impressed! One of my favorite characters. For those who are interested, there is an awkward jump in the archives where you jump off the bridge where the sage spawns for the last time to a bookshelf. Jump off at an angle to the left, and boom. Then walk under the bridge, dried finger, curl up, and go watch netflix. My record for hiding is 26 consecutive hours.

I always love NPC cosplay ambushes. So much more creative than simple white branch/chameleon use. And you didn't even hollow yourself, just made your character really dark. Points for commitment and style.

If I were to invade someone and they make me search for over 10 mins, once I find them I will wave, trying to tell them I found them, and go kms so they get whatever they get from dark spirits(shackles or whatever) because they hid well enough

I think either some of these people are pretending to not see you or they think you’re an aggro’d enemy and “switched” to the torch weapon or something.

Well no. Most of the enemy in game designed to be on two hads higher and more than player (which is dumb and have no logic as in ds and bb)
Zombieslayer 367 people most likely looks for things that are way obvious, such as culled enemies, corpses and objects that are at strange places (white branch, you can see the invaders destroying objects as proof of their suspicion) but they fail to see the forest for all the trees and miss the most obvious tell, rarely invaders bother to examine every detail amongst the mobs.
The mad invader sure was oblivious, but they are expecting a normal player and not someone hiding AS an thrash mob, AMONGST the mobs.
Since he sneaks among them, they don't react as the mobs themselves don't react to his presence, solidifying his cover.

At 14:50 if an invader were to slide down that hill not knowing the host wasn't down there would the invader have to go all the way through the whole dlc into where all the flies are in the the church basement, activate the lever and open the illusionary wall just to get back to where the host is?
Or worse if the host hasn't unlocked the basement they are just stuck down there.

3 years later...it's not the calamity ring, it's gundys shackle thing, it gives +5 to vigor/endurance/vitality with a small decrease to physical resistances. Any decrease in resistance due to an equipped item gives the calamity icon under the health bar.

hiding and denying/delaying a fight is truely the best kind of trolling in darksouls, i loved doing that when i played DS 1 it was so fun, nice to see you can still do that in DS 3 (i havent really been playing darksouls or paying attention to it much for a long while after DS 1)
