I was asked on my 4th and final round of interviews by the Owner of the company if I had kids, and they wanted someone dedicated to the job. ( I am married for 10 years, I have had difficulty getting pregnant in the past. So if they give a job with them I shouldn't consider raising a family? ) I replied to him politely yes I will raise a family in the future. I obviously didn't get the job. I stood firm and did not lie. People in top positions need to think before they talk.
They aren’t supposed to ask questions like that. That’s illegal

Thanks for this video! The most interesting question I was asked in an interview was "how would you like me to remember you for?". Thankfully I have studied before and realized that was the time to bring things from practical to human while still being professional, using the the company's goals meeting with mine giving us a special bond.

The weirdest questions I got in an interview were:
- why do women need so many pair of shoes? (not sexist at all)
- more of a warning than a question: you cannot get pregnant while on the job, I do not want to look again for an EA

In my country they are not allowed to reject someone because of pregnancy, a wish for kids or because of ‘that age’. It’s discrimination and you should take legal steps if you were rejected because of that.
I attended an interview where we had to carry out a group exercise and then present our strategies. At the end of the process I was asked what I thought of the other candidates and which one I would chose for the EA job we were all interviewing
I had a similar experience. Was this with an agency over zoom?
Very delicate and soft spoken
A previous interviewer asked me which gym I go to... The interview was 40 minutes, and they were all more "personal" questions instead of the actual job-related interview. I didn't specify which gym location I go to and broadly stated the name of the gym, and he kept asking me where I live - when I've already answered this question prior to the gym question.. Then a week later, he texts me saying that they found a better applicant with more experience and could give me the role, but told me they will let me know if they have another open position for a different department.
Once one employer asked me how much was the highest price I paid for my shoes 😂
Strangest question I had was "If you were a bread, what would you be and why?" I simply answer wheat bread.... because I'm whole and hearty.... it was for a HR coordinator role.... lol
🤦♀️ I hope whoever makes this crap up steps on lego in the middle of the night on the way to the loo.

Strangest question I received during an interview was pretty bad. I was asked, "How did I learn to speak English so well?" I am an American citizen, born in California and living in Colorado for most of my life. I enjoy reading books and have intelligent family members... not sure what else to say there.
That's horrifying. I hope you didn't end up working there.

a letter opener, a pointer, you could flip it and use the eraser side as a stylus

I am coming towards the end of my degree at university and I am applying for a job as an executive assistant exams officer in a college. Is there anything I should say on my CV/cover letter that would give me a better chance of getting an interview for the job?
Having very strong Microsoft Office experience and working well with others are key.
